Diddy got a little hot under the collar at the 2023 Met Gala — and not just because of his sweltering outfit.
The Bad Boy boss was among the many A-list celebrities who attended the annual glitzy fundraising bash in New York City on Monday night (May 1).

While the lavish outfits are usually the main topic of conversation, it was Diddy’s undefined relationship with Yung Miami that was put under the microscope on the red carpet.
During a brief yet chat with La La Anthony for Vogue, Puff was seen sweating bullets as he was grilled about his seemingly on-again, off-again fling with the City Girls star, who was his date for the night.
“I have the million dollar question right now. Are you ready for it? … So, do y’all officially go together real bad?” La La asked, which left Diddy wiping sweat from his forehead before attempting to deflect the question to Miami.
Not letting him off the hook, La La then put her arm around the Harlem-bred hitmaker — who was draped in a custom couture Sean John suit and cape that was designed in honor of the late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, the theme of this year’s Met Gala — and pressed him for a straight answer.

After stumbling over his words and pleading ignorance over the question, Diddy finally replied — albeit without quite giving La La the clarity she was looking for.
“We definitely go together real bad. She’s my date for the night, she’s incredible,” he said. “We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it; we don’t put titles on it.

“This is like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me to meet, and I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”
A significantly less ruffled Yung Miami took the question in stride and echoed Diddy’s sentiment by simply offering: “It’s just a good date night.”
Diddy and Yung Miami’s Met Gala date came as something of a surprise considering the City Girls rapper had alluded to them calling it quits just days earlier.
When asked during an interview with The Cut last week if she and Puff were still together, Miami replied: “No,” before confirming they’re both very much “single.”

“We’re still friends! We’re still good friends!” she said. “But we’re single. That’s not my man. We had our own situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were fucking with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.”
The duo first sparked dating rumors almost two years ago when they were seen holding hands at Quality Control CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas’ birthday party in June 2021.
However, it wasn’t until last summer that they made their romance official, with Diddy confirming that they were “dating” during an appearance on Miami’s REVOLT talk show, Caresha Please.
The pair’s budding romance came under scrutiny again late last year when Puff announced that he had quietly fathered a daughter, Love Sean Combs, whose mother is 28-year-old cybersecurity specialist Dana Tran.

Although the news led Yung Miami to be labeled by some as Diddy’s “side chick,” the Florida native revealed she wasn’t kept in the dark about it.
“Yeah, I did,” she replied when asked by G Herbo if she knew about Puff’s baby during an episode of Caresha Please. “I think communication is the key. I feel like when you dealing with somebody, communication is the key. It wasn’t a surprise.”
