Diddy is looking to improve his admittedly terrible basketball skills with the help of renowned NBA shooting coach Lethal Shooter.

In a clip posted on Instagram by Lethal Shooter (real name Chris Matthews), the Bad Boy Records founder can be seen practicing his jump shot with mixed success.

There’s a particularly funny moment where Diddy misses a shot and proceeds to throw the basketball away while shouting “motherfucker!”

Speaking to the camera, Puff then comes clean about his hooping ability, saying: “Gonna let you in on a secret. Diddy right now has the worst jump shot that a Black man can have.”

The music mogul also revealed that he had undergone surgery on his shoulder.

Former NBA star and three-time Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson commented on the post, saying: “These n-ggas never pick’d up a ball and shot around? Like never?”

Other fans also made jokes at Diddy’s expense, with one saying: “Soooo… we just gonna act like we don’t see this white guy following Diddy around with a lamp.”

Another person even compared Diddy’s build to that of New Orleans Pelicans All-Star Zion Williamson.

Diddy is not the first Hip Hop star that Lethal Shooter has worked with on their basketball game. Drake recently enlisted the coach — who played high school ball with Kevin Durant — to help him with his own jumper.

Writing about Drizzy’s improvements on Instagram, Lethal Shooter said: “Drake’s ability to shoot after we made the necessary making changes are very impressive. Tell him something and he catches on instantly. Shooting from NBA range and most importantly form is clean. We never satisfied more work to do.”

Lethal Shooter has also worked with the likes of Kanye West, Future, Rick Ross, 21 Savage and Chance The Rapper, while he can also boast Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and noted basketball superfan Adam Sandler as clients.

On working with Sandler, Lethal Shooter said: “Adam Sandler truly loves the game of basketball. He put me in my first movie a year ago and trusted me to choreograph my own scene. Just want to publicly say THANK YOU brother.

“It has opened so many doors for me. Continue being a role model for the next generation and a positive influences for all of us. Don’t forget those changes we made to your jumper, it’s so smooth.”

As for NBA stars, Lethal Shooter has worked with the very best across the league, past and present, including Anthony Davis, Jaylen Brown and Dwight Howard.
