The father of Diddy’s ex, Kim Porter, has seen the infamous video of the Bad Boy mogul viciously beating Cassie, and he’s not thrilled about it, to say the least.
In an interview with Rolling Stone that dropped on Friday (June 7), 78-year-old Jake Porter compared Diddy’s actions to war crimes.
“You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that,” he said to the outlet. “It was despicable. I couldn’t believe it. I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy.”
Though the elder Porter insisted that he never witnessed Diddy abuse Porter, he said that the video “made him wonder.”
The video in question was obtained by CNN on May 17, in which a man identified as Diddy can be seen in the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, running from his hotel room, wearing nothing but a towel.
Footage of the incident, which took place on March 5, 2016, then cuts to Diddy grabbing Cassie by the neck and throwing her to the floor. He then kicks her repeatedly, grabs her personal items away from her, then kicks her once again before running back to his hotel room.
The “Me & You” singer then tries to use a hotel phone to call for assistance, which prompts the Bad Boy mogul to once again shove her down to the ground. He’s then seen sitting on a hotel chair, still wearing nothing but his towel, and throws what appears to be a vase in her direction.
Following the release of the video, Diddy issued a statement condemning his actions.
While Jake Porter isn’t sure that his late daughter was abused by Diddy, Donald Trump Jr. claims she definitely was.
Trump Jr. sat down with Akademiks back in April, after the podcaster was invited to broadcast live from the Trump family’s Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach, FL. During the interview, the former TV presenter alleged that his ex-wife Vanessa Trump had been close with Porter, who confided that she was afraid of Diddy.
“I grew up in New York,” he explained at the 4:06 mark. “Before politics, I used to get invited to all the cool kids parties. My ex-wife [Vanessa] actually, she was a model in New York, and she was really good friends with Kim Porter.”
After Porter died, Trump Jr. explained that his ex-wife was suspicious about the circumstances of her passing.
“Something’s up with that,” Vanessa allegedly told him. “Dude. Kim used to tell me that it was bad. It was really bad. There was a lot of weird shit goin’ on. She was really afraid of him. And this goes back years.”
