Denzel Curry Links Up With T-Pain For New Single ‘Trouble’

As Denzel Curry gears up to release his fifth studio album Melt My Eyez See Your Future on Friday (March 25), the Florida spitter linked up with T-Pain for the project’s latest single “Trouble.”

The track’s Adrian Villagomez-directed visual finds Denzel Curry embodying his lyrics as he strives to make it out of his circumstances and lead a better life.

“Ain’t nothin’ left to do but now a n-gga gotta hustle/I got it out the mud and then I did it off the muscle/Maneuver through the game, I put my n-ggas in the huddle/Now we all just runnin’ round, some fittin’ pieces to the puzzle,” Curry raps.

The Kenny Beats and DJ Khalil-produced single arrives on the heels of Curry’s previously released tracks “Zatoichi” and “Walkin,” with all three tracks set to appear on Melt My Eyez See Your Future. Curry dropped off the project’s track list a few days ago, and confirmed the new album will feature appearances from JID, 6lack, Slowthai, Rico Nasty, Thundercat, Robert Glasper, JPEGMAFIA and more.

The album will be Curry’s first since 2019’s ZUU, which included appearances from Tay Keith, Rick Ross and Ronny J. The project debuted at No. 32 on the Billboard 200.

Following the release of Melt My Eyez See Your Future on March 25, Denzel Curry will also embark on a world tour starting on April 1, where he’ll kick things off in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami before jetting off to Europe for the summer. Kenny Mason, Mike Dimes, redveil and PlayThatBoiZay will also join Denzel Curry for parts of the tour.

    1. I can’t shake the feeling that Denzel is mad overlooked, he’s been dropping heat since day 1 and has more talent and creativity than just about every rapper out there.

    2. I think Zel has got the potential to have his name mentioned next to the likes of Kendrick, he is a lyrical beast. Unfortunately from hearing the singles released from the forth coming album I think the beats are awful and don’t match his enerdy. Hopefully the rest of album will prove me wrong.

    3. Nobody wanted this. Why would Denzel work with T-Pain in 2022 anyway? Pain hasn’t been good (or relevant) in a while. I like T-Pain’s first two albums but he is so outdated now, I mean he was on a lame fake “singing” show where the “judges” pretended to not have a clue who he was even though it was obvious, and he whined about how nobody takes him seriously as a singer and that people “count him out’ only to ‘win’ the fake show and come back with another auto-tuned filled album.
