David Sabastian recently released his latest single and stopped by the DX Headquarters to talk about it among other topics.
Speaking with HipHopDX Editor-In-Chief Justin Hunte, the rapper talked about his “Duh” single and the urgency of dealing with problems in the black community.
“Black people are killing each other at a very rapid rate,” he said via a segment of Friday’s (August 28) DX Daily. “Three people died yesterday and it’s really crazy and it’s just that and if we don’t do something about it we will be an endangered species.”

While blacks protest ehites killing blacks via Black Lives Matter. I have yet to see this group protest the black on black crimes. Why are they not protesting in drug Infested areas? Why are they not protesting in the kill zones ? I will tell you why. It’s because the leaders and organizers are either racist ir doing it for political gain. If BLACK lives Matter then protest on substance.
I meant whites excuse the typo
They’re protesting systemic racism fool. The root and cause of oppression that is pigeon holing blacks and browns. And yes black on black crime too needs to be addressed but so does systemic racism trapping blacks in jail and holding us to double standards. Wake up and understand and see the real TRUTH.
Your biggest typo is the fact that you really seem to think that the social engineering within certain communities hasn’t played it’s part in adding to the problems . There are clear double standards in regards to how certain races/communities have been and are treated .
Substandard schooling and housing plus the unbalanced way browns and blacks are treated when it comes to the judicial system all play their part …
Yes black and brown people need to look at themselves in regards to murder within their communities however in 2015 the general public shouldn’t have to protest against being killed by tax paid CIVIL servants who claim to (protect and serve)
Anyway this argument should be redundant . Why do you think they call it the PROJECTS it’s been an EXPERIMENT from the start and it HAS clearly failed ..
dis nigga’s copying fetty wap.. lolol
You are adding nothing to the discussion please fuck off .Thanks
More like Slick Rick. Look at all the new rappers. They’re light copies of artists that worked in the 90s and early 2000’s. The industry sticks with what worked so the suits can stay paid.
……………………………………*coughs*.Wow amazing statement David, pointing out the obvious. This is like someone saying “violence is bad”
Which 9th wonder song is it?
