Dave East Reveals Title Of Forthcoming Album

Dave East announced the title and projected release date of his next album via Instagram on Tuesday (November 27). According to the caption, the project is titled Survival and is expected arrive sometime next year.

In the clip, which was filmed during an interview, East is asked if he has a specific date in mind.

“February, March,” he unenthusiastically replies. “It’s called Survival. That’s the title. Survival 2019.”

Survival follows his collaborative effort with Styles P, Beloved, which was released in October. The 13-track project featured appearances from The LOX, Tish Hyman, Dyce Payne and Jazzy.

Along with Beloved, the Harlem MC also delivered Paranoia 2 and Karma 2 earlier this year.

    1. I thought Dave East was the next big thing. He has saturated the market with a series of boring releases. Where is the quality rap these days?

    2. This dude could be the king if it was about skills only. He need a marketing plan. He needs to spend more time emulating his homie Nipsey instead of just being around in the videos. He must not pay attention to Nip when he’s around him.

    3. I’ve been listening to Dave East’s latest projects for free (since, you know, he’s still on Ass Appeal) and they have been getting boring. He needs to be under new management, like ROC Nation. That’ll get him back on track and deliver that hit album he’s been struggling with. You can tell in that video he wants to get away from that broke woman beater. Room for everybody over here at the ROC. Hook up with the King, Dave. It’s the ROC!
