Dave East has seen how more money can result in more problems, and has spoken at length about these issues on his new track “Rich Problems.”

The single also comes with a video that was filmed entirely in Abu Dhabi, with the Harlem rapper seen relaxing in the gorgeous United Arab Emirates capital city in traditional Muslim garb.

Despite this beautiful setting, and East’s obvious success, the track hears him get reflective as he raps about how fame and glamour have tried to corrupt him over the years.

The latest single from Dave East comes just a couple of months after he dropped off the deluxe edition of his DJ Drama/Gangsta Grillz mixtape The Book of David.

While it’s unclear if “Rich Problems” is the first single off a new forthcoming album, East, along with Jim JonesFabolous and Maino, confirmed in April they’re currently working on a collaborative album titled Fit Lit, which is inspired by their love of the gym.

The quartet released a track of the same name last year, and Maino revealed plans for the joint project during an interview with the Amazing AllHipHop Podcast.

“I’m gonna tell you some secretive shit that I’ve never talked about,” Maino teased. “It’s actually an album that’s, I’ll say 85 percent done — me, Jim, Fabolous and Dave East. Fit Lit — it’s us together because we be working out. That’s our little Fit Lit Club. We got some heat.”
