Damian Lillard a.k.a. Dame D.O.L.L.A. Drops ‘Live From The Bubble’ EP Hours After Beating Memphis Grizzlies

NBA Bubble MVP Damian Lillard and his Portland Trailblazers squad made history on Saturday by beating the Memphis Grizzlies in the first-ever play-in for the playoffs.

Seeing that he was already in Disney World, the 5x All-Star did the next best thing to celebrate: drop some new Hip Hop music underneath his respected alias Dame D.O.L.L.A.

For the three-song Live From The Bubble project, Dame goes solo (save for an R&B feature from Jane Hamilton on the track ‘They Know”) and proceeds to spill the inner-most portions of his cerebellum.

The 30-year-old Lillard averaged 37.3 points, 9.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds on 49.7 percent shooting from the field and 43.6 percent in 3-pointers leading up to Saturday’s game. He was unanimously selected as MVP among the 22 voting media members.

Live From The Bubble marks Dame’s third Soundcloud release of the year, following the Money Talk and Pressure: Vol. 1 streamables.

    1. better than 95% of the crap rap the industry pushes. Every industry is in shambles rn actually the world is burning up

    2. Being completely honest. I’m slightly disappointed in Dolla. First word I hear him say on the EP is “Nigga”

I cringed every time he said it which was often. This is why Shaq is the goat Baller MC. Not because his skills were so Sharp it’s because he wasn’t as tone def as Dame. He understood no matter how you slice it he is a high paid public figure and can’t hide behind hip hop as an excuse. You not in the trap Dame you in a $150 million dollar bubble. Be more clever with your vocabulary. Let these going nowhere in life rappers talk reckless and narrow their words down to nigga bitch hoe on repeat

    3. dame was on a roll offensively earlier in the seaons and picked it right back up in orlando….only he and Wilt have had 3 60pt games in one season…that speaks volumes…not even MJs done that….and he did it with efficiency too…been a while since the league had 3 scorers avg of at least 30 in a season and five over 29 n change….different times for sure
