Da Brat and her wife Jesseca Harris-Dupart have learned their baby’s gender at an extravagant gender reveal party.

On Saturday (March 25), the Chicago rapper and serial entrepreneur shared a video on Instagram of the festive occasion. They were surrounded by family and friends alongside a sea of pink and blue colors to represent which gender the child could potentially be. The married couple were also decked out in the vibrant colors from head to toe.

In the video, both women, along with their guests, could be seen looking at a decorative screen while it counted down from 10 to reveal the gender of the baby. Once the screen flashed “It’s A Boy,” there was pure pandemonium amongst everyone in attendance.

“Baby Harris – Dupart is a boy,” the couple captioned the joyous clip along with a series of blue heart emojis.

There were a number of celebrities and public figures who congratulated the couple on their impending bundle of joy. Most notably, Jermaine Dupri wrote: “Congratulations !! I knew it was gonna be a boy.”

Dupri signed Da Brat as one of the first artists to his So So Def label in 1992, and they’ve been friends and musical collaborators ever since.
