Courts Uphold Max B’s Conviction, Will Remain In Prison Until 2042

Even though Harlem, New York rapper Max B sounded optimistic about his appeal case earlier this year, it looks like the courts feel differently about the matter. According to a recent report from HipHopWired, Biggavelli’s 75-year prison sentence for his 2006 robbery-murder case has been upheld.

It was announced today that an appeals court has upheld Wavy Crockett’s 2009 conviction for the murder of David Taylor. As a result, Max will be forced to serve out the entirety of his 75-year sentence without the possibility of parole until his release on November 9, 2042.

Despite claims to the contrary, Biggavelli’s appeal was rumored to have been denied as early as February of this year. In his appeal, he argued that the judge who tried him had made a mistake in refusing his request to serparate Max’s trial from that of his partner, Kevin Leerdam.

As of June, Max B had been planning to drop several projects upon his release. There has been no word on whether the upheld conviction will prevent the release of said efforts.

    7. Dear Sean Ryon
      First of all, 2009 to 2042 = 33 years.
I’m going to need you to get your editorial game together.

      1. up for parole in that time doesn’t mean he will get out.

O.J. got 33 years but he is up for parole in 5 years.

        GET IT???

    8. Serves you right, Max B. You choose to break the law, have the nerve to appeal against your rightlfully deserved sentence, and get refused.
Time for some serious thinking, I think.

      1. max b would have been free, if he stopped doing press about his case. he need to sit his azz down and be silent. everytime the lawyers read about or hear about him bragging about his chances of getting released, it only motivates them to keep him locked up.

    13. “hey, unless you were there, you really don’t what happened”

So what you’re saying is he’s innocent?

    14. Damn, I hope this is another phony rumour, Im an atheist but I’ll pray its just a phony rumour. Hip Hop need’s him so bad, essential before the culture gets watered down even more.

    15. The people saying “do the time do the crime” are probably the same loosers who make a big fuss about rappers being real. Then when they are, like Max, Beanie etc, you just complain and wine, which is a bitch trait

      1. the same “LOOSERS”? what does that mean? and “complain and wine’? as in talk shit and get drunk?or did you mean WHINE?smh, what was the point of you even responding to this article?

      2. he raised an interesting argument yet all you want to do is critique his comment section grammar… you are petty and obnoxious.

    16. well cant blame no one but your self you did the crime it has to sink in that your doing the time its a shame too was perfect for hooks.

    17. so that norway killer got 21 years for killing over 70 people and The Wave gets 75 years for being involved in a robbery gone wrong causing death ?
