Common has no thoughts on the recently-leaked footage of Diddy physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel, as he feels he’s in no place to judge.
TMZ caught up with the multi-hyphenate outside of his Los Angeles hotel room earlier this week, and got his opinion – or lack-thereof – on the disturbing video.
“I haven’t seen it. I don’t like looking at a lot of things that – you know, I don’t watch videos of things that I feel won’t bring the right energy for me,” he explained. “But you know, God bless. To me, I don’t watch those, so I can’t say. I’m about love. You know that. I’m about peace so I’m about respecting human beings. So that’s one thing that no matter who you are, I feel like that’s something that I demand and respect and wanna be.
He continued: “I don’t have authority. I’m a child of God so I don’t believe I have the position of power to judge or decide if someone deserves this or not. That’s between the creator and them. I just try to be as good a person as I can be and be as loving and respectful to others. I’m not perfect but I try to be.”
Ma$e has also been noticeably silent on the footage of his former Bad Boy boss, despite his many issues with Diddy over the years.
Fans had taken notice to Murda’s silence on the matter since the footage leaked and shocked the world late last week. Since then, the fallout has been swift and many of the mogul’s peers have spoken out against him.
However, Ma$e addressed his lack of commentary on Tuesday’s (May 21) episode of It Is What It Is.
“I’m saving my takes for the documentary,” he said. “If y’all wondering how I feel, it’s coming soon – pause.”
While Ma$e didn’t specify which Diddy documentary he was referring to, it might end up being the docuseries about the ordeal that 50 Cent just sold to Netflix.
According to TMZ, who recently released their own documentary about the embattled mogul on Tubi, there was a fierce bidding war for the project that is being made by G-Unit Film and Television Studios.
Whether or not the documentary was real has been unclear give Fif’s endless trolling campaign against Diddy. Furthermore, no specific details about the project have been revealed.
Common sense will tell you that he’s guilty.
Shut the fuck up with that garbage ya weirdo.
all of these guys pictured with Diddy must go down – all the media who propped him up including this website must go down. Will happen in three years. They propped up an abusive monster and destroyed our music with the likes of bendrick and lil trash x having sex parties with men while slapping around women. many talented bros were disgusted out of music
@factual fred So every guy in a picture needs to go down? But the women in pictures with him are good, hunh? What a dumb and misandristic assertion. Being in pictures with someone doesn’t make you a co-conspirator, ffs
that’s bs – if dudes are being upfront like Cam and saying I saw it I don’t respect it and you need to talk to Puff about it – that’s what a man says. this is some gaslighting bs. So what if you didn’t see this guy act like an animal to a woman in a wealthy hotel hallway. Everyone else did even to check if it was AI. It wasn’t
I like Common but that’s a weak take. Somewhat sus too.
Common has some skeletons as well!
I’m not perfect either but I’ve never r*ped anyone or beat up women. What a ridiculous take. You absolutely can judge someone for being a POS.
Common been a beyotch since he went fruity in 99. Dude look like he stepped off the cover of a all male adult film
Okay, immediately look into Common. The only reason you say stuff like this is because you’re also a rapist.
