Anthony “Geezy” Gonzalez, former manager of Clipse, has revealed the subject of Pusha T’s song “S.N.I.T.C.H.” – himself.
In a sit-down interview with DJ Vlad, Gonzalez explained the line “Covered his own tracks, he didn’t care that/We had a legacy he killed, I got to wear that” is “definitely” about him.
Before confirming the rumor, Geezy revisited the day in prison he discovered the song’s release, and how it caught him off-guard.
“So the doors pop at the four o’clock count,” he says. “People get in their chairs together to watch TV (in the prison yard), and there’s a guy who yells down from the top tier, ‘Ey Geezy, your man got a song about you.’ I say, ‘a song about me?’ (…) And he still yells, ‘Yeah it’s called “S.N.I.T.C.H.” and he talking ’bout you.'”
“So when he says this,” he continues, “the whole tier turn around, everybody looking at me like, ‘what?’ So I run to the phone. I call him. So I’m like ‘T, you got a song out called “S.N.I.T.C.H.?”
Geezy then details how Push denied the song was about him, requesting he listen to it. After listening, he said, Gonzalez noted how most of the song could’ve alluded to someone else, but that the last part confirmed it was indeed him.
25 Rap Songs About “Snitching”
He adds that he understood Pusha’s intentions behind the denial were to protect him from the backlash of other inmates, but that this failed because “everybody only know the Clipse manager.”
When asked whether he was angry at Pusha during that time (for potentially putting him in harm’s way), Geezy said he only felt “some type of way (right now), because the two “ain’t talking.”
Produced by and featuring Pharrell, “S.N.I.T.C.H.” is an acronym for “Sorry Nigga I’m Tryna Come Home.” It was released on Pusha T’s 2013 debut album My Name Is My Name.
Push spoke to MTV News about the song that year, alluding to the fallout with Gonzalez.
“I had someone dear to me call me and basically tell me, ‘Yo, just don’t ever talk to me again … I love you, but don’t ever talk to me again. We ain’t never gonna talk again, don’t worry about it.'”

He didn’t have to confirm it, we knew that all along.
These rats will never be honorable!!
Pusha T never caught a case in his life. If he was facing 32 years and the feds were going after his mother, wife and aunt he would snitch in an instant. GUARANTEED. It’s easy to talk down on snitches when you been a famous rapper since the 90s and never really lived that life.
It’s cats out here with way more to lose That have stood tall and kept their mouth shut. And not everyone is gonna catch a case and just because you don’t catch a case doesn’t mean that you’re not living that life. The point is to NOT get caught.
Pusha T hates snitches but has multiple songs with a fucking correctional officer who used to search booty holes for the drugs he raps about selling? I guess birds of a feather fraud together.
There’s no correlation.
A law enforcement official who took an oath to snitch on his black brothers, to shoot his escaping black brothers in the back. Who now poisons the minds of youth with big time drug dealer talk when he was the complete opposite of that. That’s worse than snitching on some Mexicans to me.
Gezzy just a chatty patty huh?
Fuck this guy
Let’s stop all this snitching shit. None of you out here facing 25 to life. The streets never loved you and never will. You’ve been fooled if you follow the code of the streets when most were never built for it. If a person tells the truth about some thing that they were involved in. lets call it setting the record straight. If that person tells a lie to get less time than I would agree that is worst than a rat!
