Christina Milian Addresses Lil Wayne & Baby Rift

With news of a rift between Lil Wayne and Baby tearing apart the Young Money camp late in 2014, the prospects for the release of the New Orleans rapper’s Carter V are still at stake as the label looks ahead to 2015.

Offering up her own take on the divide, fellow Young Money artist Christina Milian chimed in when asked by the Hollywood Reporter about the situation on the red carpet for the recent premiere of the TV series Empire.

“It’s a little difficult,” she said. “I’m on the same record label. I’m on Young Money, so it’s a little difficult when it comes to business. I understand the circumstance for all of them. I think everyone’s trying to work it out and I wish the best. Honestly it’s been an empire that has been built between Baby and with Lil Wayne. You can only hope for the best and big things for the both of them, that they continue this grind that they have. They basically paved the way for people like myself having the opportunity to become successful. I pray it all works out. I know he prays the same thing, nothing but the best.”

    1. Truth be told Baby own all the masters all the publishing from these artist Lil Wayne if he is able to walk away he will only have the clothes on his back this is nothing new in the recording business ,Baby is going broke his wild spending and not paying bills is the first sign all that stuntin is coming to a end ,Wayne is treated like a kid Baby got him on allowance and Wayne is fed up but he fears Baby will retaliate physical its that serious

      1. hahahaha, you sit behind the computer and think you know how much Baby has… pathetic. Birdman’s definitely not broke, he owns a huge company that is still releasing music – We The Best is under him, Young Money (Minaj, Drake, Wayne) is under him… You really think he is BROKE? lol And btw, you’re contradicting yourself – if Baby owns all the masters and all the publishing then he is definitely not going broke as he can sell them at any point. Funny how you THINK you know something.

      2. Baby already harmed Wayne psychically by fucking him in the arse for all those years & now they both fucked especially mentally, they can’t eat, drink or live without each other!

      3. WAYNE HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY BITCH. HE CANNOT ACCEPT THAT I AM BANGING RICH HOMIE QUAN AND YOUNG THUG. AINT NO PUSSY LIKE NEW PUSSY

    2. Wayne should have walked away years ago. Would probably be worth a couple hundred million more dollars if he did too. Both him and Baby messed up a pretty golden situation. Remember when people were questioning who was the best rapper…him or Jay-Z? Remember when people gave a $hit about a Wayne release? Wasn’t that long ago he sold a million records the first week his albums dropped.

      1. doesnt matter. flash forward a few years and drake has entirely made jay-z and wayne irrelevant. wouldn’t have mattered if he was a little more successful. drake was waiting to wipe em ALL out.

    3. It don’t effect you honey, you haven’t even gotta name for your album, shhhit you haven’t even gotta release date!
