Chris Brown Pleads Guilty To Assault

Chris Brown pleaded guilty today (September 2) to assaulting a man in Washington D.C. in October.

The incident took place while the singer was on probation in a felony assault case involving his attack on his on-again-off-again girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

Brown served time in jail earlier this year because he was on probation when the D.C. incident happened. The singer was released in June.

Brown also took part in counseling and rehab this year, a point that was brought up by Danny Onorato, the singer’s attorney.

“To say that he’s been punished severely in this matter is an understatement,” Onorato said, as reported by the Associated Press by way of ABC News.

Brown also spoke on the matter.

“I would like to say to the court that I’m sorry,” the singer said in court.

    1. All these legal troubles is putting delays in his plans, I doubt he’s actually retiring but I do think waiting until all his legal troubles settles before doing a all new album.

    2. The problem with Chris Brown is whenever he is in trouble he apologizes abjectly, claims to be taking responsibility for his violent behavior while actually avoiding-minimizing his behavior, enters some form of treatment, hoping if enough time passes he’ll be able to resume his career.

      1. yes you right but we not looking at why. first i was gonna make my own comment. then i decided to reply to yours cuz you right. he is mentally insane. and a psycho island bitch is the one who put him that way!!! you know that slut was going off and drove this man crazy and ruined his life the effects of which he is still reeling from and causing him to throw hissy fits and get into fights. that was the genesis

      2. @ A,

Are you seriously going to blame Rihanna for Chris’ downfall? Grow up dude. Chris is grown enough to know better. Everyone makes mistakes. His best bet would be to take ownership of what he’s gotten himself into and start over. He’s an extremely talented dude and he should have no problems bouncing back from this one. Give me a break. Your comments are idiotic. You must be 15 or 16 years old.

    3. Start working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life.

      This is what I do.

    5. Let this young man live his life. So what if he wants to act like Ike Turner. More power to him if his pimp slap hand needs daily action.
