Chris Brown has been arrested for felony assault after allegedly attacking a man outside of a hotel this morning (October 27), according to TMZ.com.
The singer was reportedly approached at approximately 4:30 am by two women who wanted to take a picture with him in front of the W Hotel in Washington, D.C., according to law enforcement, as per TMZ. When two men attempted to get into the photo, Brown allegedly used a gay slur before allegedly throwing a punch at the alleged victim, as per TMZ.com.
Brown is now in police custody, TMZ says.
Law enforcement officials said that Brown did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident, according to TMZ.

The alleged victim did not throw a punch at Brown and the two did not know each other, TMZ says.
Brown’s bodyguard was also arrested, TMZ.com says.
The alleged victim is being evaluated at a D.C. hospital and sources say that he’s claiming he was injured in the alleged assault, TMZ.com says.
Brown is on probation for his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna and this incident could be viewed a violation of his probation, TMZ says. If so, he could be sentenced to prison for up to four years.
