Chris Brown Named Suspect In Battery Case

Chris Brown has been accused of battery after allegedly participating in a fight during a basketball game in Las Vegas today (May 4), TMZ says.

The singer was allegedly in an altercation at Hardwood Suit at the Palms Casino Resort that began with an argument between Brown and another man and included Brown punching the other individual.

Police were called to the scene but did not talk to Brown once they arrived, the story says.

Brown reportedly can either sign a misdemeanor battery citation or face the charge in court.

In March, Brown has his probation lifted. The singer was sentenced to five years of probation in 2009 after pleading guilty to felony assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
