“‘Lithonia’ is coming out July 2nd,” he said. “That got leaked. It kinda pissed me off, to be honest. That’s another reason why y’all don’t get good shit. For what? It’s not valuable enough. It’s just a single.

“I know who did it, Audiomack. Fucking, no soup for you. You’re not getting the album now. That’s what time I’m on.”

Gambino has been teasing “Lithonia” on TikTok in recent weeks, and even used a brief snippet of the track to fire back at his critics.

Earlier this month, the “3005” rapper posted a short clip of somebody about to list off “the reasons I don’t fuck with Donald Glover.”

The video then switched to a close up of Bino looking fed up while the new song, which includes the lyrics: “He’s finding out that nobody gives a fuck,” played in the background.

The short preview finds him in singing mode, similar to his Awaken, My Love! album, rather than his older, more rap-centric material.

“Lithonia” appears to be the first single from Childish Gambino’s upcoming album, Bando Stone in the New World, which is due out this summer.

Announced during an episode of his GILGA Radio show earlier this year, the project will serve as the soundtrack to a film of the same name Glover is working on and be his final release under his rap moniker.
