The recent streaming accolades of Chance The Rapper, Desiigner, and a handful of other Hip Hoppers have earned them a spot on Spotify’s newly-released “25 Under 25” list.
Complex reports that the streaming service titan takes into consideration a number of factors when crafting their “25 Under 25” list. Among them are the number of people listening to an artist each month on Spotify and artists who have songs featured on Spotify’s top playlists.
With the #3 spot, Chance The Rapper serves as the MC with the highest positioning on Spotify’s list. At the top of last year, Chance made it onto another noteworthy list when he was the youngest act on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list.
The Chicago wordsmith is then followed by Tory Lanez (#13), Desiigner (#17), and Rae Sremmurd (#23) on Spotify’s list.
