Central Cee has admitted that he âlikesâ the fact that he did not feature Drake on his album Canât Rush Greatness.
Speaking on Dutch radio station FunX, the British rap star revealed that he has an unreleased collaboration with Drizzy in the stash, but is glad that he chose not to put it on his recently released debut LP.

âIâm sure thereâs a Drake record in the vault,â he said. âBut it seemed like it was predictable. I think everybody was thinking that thereâs gonna be a Drake record on there. So I like the fact that there wasnât.â
Cench also hinted that he was âsavingâ the song he recorded with the 6 God, with whom he previously collaborated on a viral freestyle for On the Radar.

The freestyle was released commercially in 2023 and led to Central Cee cracking the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time as it peaked at number 80 on the chart.
While Drake did not appear on the tracklist for Canât Rush Greatness, the 26-year-old did recruit a number of American all-stars for the album including Lil Baby, 21 Savage and Lil Durk, as well as fellow Londoners Skepta and Dave.
The project has already been hailed as one of the best rap releases of 2025 so far and is expected to make a splash on next weekâs Billboard 200.
HITS Daily Double reports that Canât Rush Greatness is on pace to debut at number nine on the chart, powered by an estimated 34,500 equivalent units.

That would represent a new commercial high for U.K. rappers in the U.S., with the current record holder being Tinie Tempahâs Disc-Overy which reached number 21 on the Billboard 200 in 2010.
Skeptaâs 2016 album Konnichiwa, which boasted the hit single âShutdownâ as well as collaborations with Pharrell, A$AP Nast and A$AP Bari, managed no better than number 160 on the chart.
