Cardi B let TMZ know how she really felt on Wednesday (October 17). After the outlet ran a story claiming Cardi takes several jabs at Nicki Minaj on her upcoming single, Mrs. Offset let them have it.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, she blasted TMZ for stalking her and hew newborn daughter Kulture.
“Dear TMZ,” she wrote. “You see you really pressed my button a couple of weeks ago when ya had photographers literally stalk me and my daughter when i clearly said repeatedly i don’t want to show my daughter. With fame comes crazy people, stalkers and psychopaths so i want to protect my child till I’m ready to show her to the world but NO integrity don’t matter to ya.”
From there, Cardi accuses them of writing false stories about her and proceeds to announce the release date for “Money.”
“Then ya constantly got me in ya blog spreading fake shit about me without doing ya research and even when we tell ya is not true ya still push it,” she continued. “Ya motherfuckers need to get off my dick and start reporting about them actresses ya used to report about cause I’m not the one to fuck with THANK YOU!! Btw in REAL news my single “Money” drops OCTOBER 26!!”
The tension has between the two rap superstars has been building for months. It came to a head during New York Fashion Week when Cardi allegedly threw a shoe at Nicki. Shortly after, Cardi took to Instagram and declared war on her perceived rival.
Cardi later admitted she was upset Nicki liked, and then unliked, a post questioning Cardi’s parenting skills. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]
People like Cardi B are the reason we need to build that wall.
Actually, it’s because of people like you who think all Latinos are Mexican that we need better schools.
Yet you demand that the schools must be mixed, or it’s racism. You wouldn’t be ok with separate schools for non-whites and whites, right?
Uh oh. We got a butt hurt white boy here…
…that escalated quickly!
Cardi got a point. Silly gossip site has infiltrated hip hop when they started losing ratings reporting solely on actors dilemmas. We for one should stop using them as a source of news. They’re the Inquirer of the digital age
Good luck having any single close to that bodak yellow hype, once this single drop this is the part where you start seeing people go on to the next flavor of the year artist.
