Cardi B took matters into her own hands in Las Vegas this weekend after someone at one of her performances thought it would be a good idea to throw a drink at her.

On Saturday (July 29), the Bronx rapper performed at an outdoor daytime party at Drai’s Nightclub. In footage from the event, Cardi, whilst in the middle of performing “Bodak Yellow,” can be seen walking to the side of the stage, when someone aims, and subsequently throws, a drink on her.

In response, Bardi then recoils back and launches her microphone at the offender. Cardi can then be seen mouthing what appears to be “jealous-ass bitch!” as the offender is escorted off the premises, before security hands Cardi B the microphone back to continue the performance.

Later that evening, Cardi B, in a yellow fringe dress, again took to the stage in Vegas and was her usual fun and funny self. “You know what I need?” she says in the video. “A very classy, educated woman. You know what I want? The sluts, bitch! Hahaha!”

A “jealous-ass bitch” may have tried to derail Cardi B’s performance in Vegas, but the Bronx native has been capitalizing off the success of her new single “Jealousy” with her husband Offset.

The video, which was inspired by the cult classic film Baby Boy and directed by Offset himself, is set in South Central L.A. and shows the married couple fussing and fighting just like Jody (Tyrese Gibson) and Yvette (Taraji P. Henson) did in the aforementioned film.

Henson herself makes a cameo in the visual, alongside Offset and Cardi’s children, Kulture and Wave, as well as ‘Set’s other kids. There’s also a tribute to his late groupmate, TakeOff, in the form of a red rug which features both Atlanta artists on it.

As for the track itself, “Jealousy” was produced by Boi-1da, OZ and Jahaan Sweet, and samples Three 6 Mafia’s 2000 record “Jealous Ass Bitches.”
