Cardi B Responds To Call To Ban Pornography: ‘Why Y’all So Against Porn?’

Cardi B is not on board with a recent call to ban pornography, even though she’s not a regular viewer.

Last week, right-wing commentator Candace Owens called for a ban on XXX content in a post to X (formerly Twitter), calling it a “psychological weapon” against men.

“Ban pornography. It is a psychological weapon intended to weaken our men,” she wrote.

In an Instagram comment captured by TMZ, Cardi responded to the post, questioning why a person would ever need to be that extreme.

“Ommmggg why yall so against porn ?” she wrote. “Is that that bad for yall ? I enjoy it but I don’t know I guess is like a 6 time a year thing. I personally don’t feel no connection or addiction to it just a quick little one two ….NOTHING LIKE REAL INTIMACY!”

In a follow-up comment responding to Owens’ “weaken our men” idea, she added, “It actually should teach men how to please a woman.”

On the music side of things, Cardi B is reportedly still gearing up to drop an album in 2024, despite her comments to the contrary just earlier this month.

As the latest Rolling Stone cover girl, Bardi opened up about the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Invasion of Privacy and was even working on it throughout the interview with the famed publication.

While the conversation took place in March, Rolling Stone reached out to the Bronx rapper’s team amid her declaration to no longer drop her sophomore effort on May 14, and her rep assured them that “an album in 2024 is still the plan.”

It would appear then that Cardi made the since-deleted post to Twitter/X out of spite, as she was upset about her fans hounding her for new music.

In the tweet, Cardi had agreed with a fan who said people don’t appreciate the Bronx rapper’s transparency, and that she should fall back from social media for the time being.

“Exactly and I tell myself this all the time..and I hate that I fall back and start interacting again and it bites me in the ass…” Cardi replied. “anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing this year.. Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”

As for the album, Rolling Stone reports that, as of March, it was partially done, but still needed an intro, at least three more songs a title, features, and a rollout plan.

Regarding the album’s vibe, Cardi said that she’s “a different person every single day. When I’m in a good mood and I’m with my friends, [I’m] like, ‘Damn, I want my shit to be played in this club.’ But then I might be mad with my man, so it’s like now I want to do this song. But then I want to do a pop record. I want to do my sing-y shit.”

    1. naw just ban the smuts doin it 4 mcchickens n 1990s prices, dont know why Im complainin but sheesh used to be a lovely game now everyone & they grandmama ebeggin 4 subs

    2. Porn should be illegal, shame on you sexual deviants out there ! I don’t mess with porn.. I beat off to Drake videos, that’s all that I need

    3. Only ugly females cry about porn. They’re mad that men can find someone better looking in a few seconds which means they lose out on attention, validation, and money from men

    4. Porn isnt the problem. The problem is simps. Who told someone to pay onlyfans subscriptions when online porn is free ? Why ? Who makes this business flourish? We know who the models are, just watch the whatever podcast. But who exactly are the simps ? These men hide in the shadows, like literally who are they ? Whos paying 30 bucks a month to subscribe to some random chicks OF ? Who pays 100 bucks for a personalized video ? Who sends OF “models” DMs ? These guys that lurk in the shadows need to be exposed. If you pay for porn instead of just watching it for free you should be publicly clowned. Porn aint the problem, simps are.

      1. Who hurt you? People have paid for porn way before onlyfans. Not every porn site is free. You sound like one of those guys who didn’t get none while your friends got puss left and right. Straight incel energy.

    5. I think it’s really simple, there should be no more of it made BECAUSE would everyone be ok if their female family members were porn stars? I don’t think any of you guys would want your sister or mom or aunt or niece or granddaughter or daughter involved in that industry. If you say you’re ok with it, I think you’re lying. It’s their life and it’s a free country but I hope no one would want that for their family, as opposed to other career paths. That’s my 2 cents. We don’t need porn if we have solid relationships with woman that respect us and themselves.
