Cardi B may have put the brakes on the release of her debut album for now, but that didn’t stop her from previewing part of a new verse on the ‘Gram.
In the video, which was uploaded on Monday (November 20), Cardi animatedly raps along to the song. The caption suggests that the track will be a release from fellow Bronx rapper Chubbie Baby.
“@itschubbiebaby when the fuck this shit coming out ??!!,” Cardi B wrote in a caption to the video.
Chubbie Baby reposted the clip, writing that Cardi “went crazy” on the song.
“Stay tune I got you @iamcardib the roll out about to be Crazy just spoke to my guys you went crazy on this,” Chubbie wrote.
The preview of the song comes shortly after Cardi provided an update on the status of her debut album via Twitter. She revealed that she’s under a lot of pressure, and the songs she’s working with aren’t quite up to par for an album.
“I have a lot of pressure on me.I have songs stashed up .I just don’t think they qualified for my album .Sometimes i think is ready sometimes i think it’s not so I’m going to take my time till it’s right,” Cardi B tweeted on Sunday (November 19).
