Cardi B is the latest rapper to be tapped by Kim Kardashian to star in a campaign for her SKIMS shapewear brand.
Kim revealed the Grammy-winner’s collab with SKIMS in a steamy trailer featuring Cardi B modeling the new Cotton Collection, which was released on the SKIMS website on Monday (October 16).

“I’ve always loved the SKIMS Cotton Collection,” Cardi relayed in a statement for the collection. “It’s so sexy and makes me feel snatched yet comfortable while hanging out at home.
“The new styles and colors I wore on set are even better, and I can’t wait to wear them all the time.”

Cardi innocently asked her fans in the clip while rocking a red wig: “Everybody’s wearing SKIMS, are you?”
One follower couldn’t take her seriously though, writing: “Lmaoo I’m sorry but that was funny!”

Some items from the new Cotton Collection will go on sale starting on Thursday (October 19) at 12 p.m. ET. Most garments are available in forest green, off-white and more. Prices vary from $36 bralettes to $54 leggings and $68 mini-dresses.
Cardi is far from the first rapper to make an appearance in a SKIMS ad as Coi Leray, SZA, Ice Spice, Nelly Furtado, Snoop Dogg and more have shown up for Kardashian.
SKIMS isn’t the only brand Card is repping at the moment, as she recently joined the UGGs team in September to promote their Classic Dipper Boot with the fall season arriving at our collective doorstep.
“Ugg season is officially here because I said so,” Cardi captioned an Instagram video.

Cardi B celebrated her 31st birthday last week and while accepting some flowers and balloons from hubby Offset, she previewed an unreleased track that fans assume to be from her anticipated and long-awaited sophomore album.
“I’m back in the mood, I’m back on they asses,” she raps. “I’m teaching them classes/ These bitches is food!”
