Cam’ron & Jim Jones Diss Jay Z On New Dipset Track

On the heels of a Funkmaster Flex rant dissing Jay Z and his website Life + Times, Dipset rappers Cam’ron and Jim Jones released a new freestyle through the deejay that also takes aim at the iconic emcee.

Rapping over Puff Daddy’s “Victory” instrumental, Cam and Jim Jones each drop a verse with subliminal shots for Jay Z. While the track features one half of Dipset, it’s unclear if the song is slated to appear on the group’s planned reunion mixtape.

“Killer 40th / Been there since a shorty,” Cam raps first, “Got the 40 cal, uh huh, my 40-40 / Don’t make an ass out of yourself by assuming / Our music keeps you moving / What is you doing?”

Later on, Cam takes a harder line at Jay and uses a sample of a Beyonce vocal clip to make sure it’s clear who he’s talking about.

“Having money that don’t make you a real one,” he spits, “You stepped on the court you gon’ play my game / Just take shorty’s advice and say my name.”

Shortly after, Cam also makes reference to siding with Dame Dash. “I’m with Dame man / You overdid it homes / You shouldn’t be alone / I’m from the danger-zone.”

      1. Word on the street, he slept with Kill Cam’s momma years ago and they still bitter bout that. plus he fucked over all of them contract wise

    1. Washed up rappers trying to make a comeback. Go back to your scripted life on reality tv. Coming at jay ain’t gonna help you sell no records or get no fans to your shows. As for flex it might be time for warning shots part 2.

    2. man this track is wild corny cam didnt even try 2 switch biggys line lmao

all these years away and they come back at jay like this?

    3. Cam left like the whole verse in tact, barely wrote any of his own verse. Jim Jones surprisingly sounded a lot better.

    4. I fuck with Dipset, but dissing Jay is old news, did that shit back in 2006, obvious move for attention but it’s so weak niggas ain’t gonna respect it

    5. Why diss Jay?? Don’t get it. Dipset is not even on his level in life or musically. I liked certain music from Dip Set back in the day, but going at Jay-Z is just reaching for publicity and attention.

    6. Gaaaaaarbage! Yall still stuck with that old sh!T. Dipset old ass niqqaz got together and was like “Dawg we still got this rap game let’s get it” lmfaooo. Go back and do a reality show niqqa.

      1. Love & hip hop New york perhaps? or even Couples therapy LOL . yeah this(freestyle) seems like a cry for help honestly and i fucks wit dipset

    7. These guys wish so bad that Jay-Z would mention their name…unfortunately for them, he has grown man shit to do. These guys idolize Jay-Z. They’re not in his stratosphere as an MC, or a human being.

    8. I always said fuck Hov. But cmon dipset just make real music. What nyc been missing. U new trap fuck fans wouldn’t understand. U was still in grade school.

    9. This is so obvious and blatant….they doing a renunion…and how they start it off? By going at jAY-Z…..just to get some buzz going…..soooo obvious..

    10. How about y’all just make some music.. On your own..Or is it that y’all know you won’t generate any buzz without using Jay’s name?

    11. Dipset is on wack juice. They only tight when they money get slow. And Cam still on Jays dick. Nothing new. That’s why yall don’t hit no mo.

    12. This is crab in the bucket at its finest… they see Jay ascending to another level and they are trying to pull him down and make him come back to their level. Cam the only one in Dipset that I respect. The rest of these boys cannot rap. You already know Jay sees this too and he will either them but on his own time and on his iwn terms.

    13. Dip set who? No one outside New York knows who these clowns are. Shut the fuck up and listen to Blueprint 3 and realise why Jay Z has already answered back years ago.

    14. juelz couldnt be there, he was busy getting ran out of his own show scared for his life while his weed carrier was getting his chain took, Snitch boys on everything!
