Bow Wow has declared that male groupies are worse than their female counterparts when it comes to partying at a club, and he’s calling for an end to the trend.

Footage of Bow Weezy making the announcement from the comfort of his bed surfaced online on Tuesday (February 21), and he was serious about male groupies having to chill out whenever their favorite celebrity is around.

According to the Ohio native, male groupies make it their mission to get close to a celebrity, whether it be elbowing people out of the way or being plain rude, and it ruins the whole vibe.

“I don’t care what y’all say, men have to be the most groupied out annoyingest creatures in the nightclub,” Bow Wow said in the clip. “It’s not the ladies. It’s not the women. I tell women this all the time, they be like oh, ‘The section going to be full of groupies.’ Yeah, it’s going to be some baddies for sure that’s the only way it gotta be but these dudes though? Y’all gotta stop thirst balling in the club.”

He added: “That shit is crazy. N-ggas be pushing the women out the way to get as close as they can to the dude, like to the celebrity. This shit gotta stop.”

Bow Wow shared an example from the other night where a man was being a little too aggressive and calling for the rapper to come over to his section. The rapper didn’t appreciate the fan being so overzealous and told the man he wasn’t going over there because it wasn’t that serious.

“It’s time for n-ggas to have proper club etiquette,” Bow Wow added. “You n-ggas don’t have proper club etiquette. Have a good time, kick it, get on something instead of watching me have fun all night. Get on something.”

While Bow Wow is dishing club etiquette for men, he’s also defending his snub from Billboard and VIBE‘s 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list. The 35-year-old hopped on Twitter to speak his mind over the viral list earlier this month, and he made it clear he didn’t appreciate his exclusion considering what he’s achieved in his career.

“Aye i aint make the top 50 either,” Bow Wow wrote. “Id rather take whats ‘REAL’ then for a fake maf**** in an office to give they opinion on who top 50.”

He later returned with another tweet and claimed he took no offense to his snub after a fan asked if he was really a Top 50 rapper, writing: “I took no offense not making that list. I always said im not a rapper i am an entertainer. I don’t like to be box’d in.”
