Boosie Badazz has never been one to hold his punches, and he’s now been confronted with another such rapper: Omeretta.

On Thursday (June 29), Omeretta dropped her “Put It on Da Floor” remix in which she calls out multiple names linked to the YSL RICO case. While defending Gunna, she also takes shots at those who have criticized him of late.

The following day, on Friday (June 30), Boosie Badazz responded on Twitter: “OMERTÀ get mad at what yo city doing [rat emoji] dont get mad at me lol.”

In a second tweet, her claimed the rising rapper said his name for clout just to get a feature with someone, presumably Gunna.

“I see the plaY [laughing emoji] N who you trying to get a feature with [laughing emoji] SMH #Cloutchasin Just keep rapping [fire emoji] hopefully your time coming,” the Baton Rouge rapper tweeted.

Young Thug, on the other hand, doesn’t seem as concerned about the trial as he is about music. The 31-year-old released new album Business is Business last week, while he was in police custody and he continues to remain active in the creative circuit.

Most recently, Thugga took to his Instagram Stories to urge Boosie and T.I. to go ahead and drop the collaborative project they’ve been teasing for some time.

“@mamaheliveagain2.0 and @tip ya’ll go ahead and drop that album together,” he wrote. “That’s all a n-gga wants.”

Boosie has yet to respond, although Tip did repost Thug’s post on his own Instagram Stories and added a series of emojis indicating he’s on board with the idea.

T.I. and Boosie Badazz have had quite the ride over the last few months. During an interview with VladTV in February, Boosie declared he was no longer doing the project over allegations that the Grand Hustle general had snitched on a dead relative back in the day.

“With the T.I. situation, if he did that — you a fucking rat too,” Boosie said. “I don’t spare no muthafuckin’ body. Because if you doing anything wrong, you doing anything criminal and you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of trouble – that means you’re cooperating. That means you’re a rat.”

He added: “No [that album is not coming out] because it ruined everything. I woke up with my muthafuckin’ phone, everything full. My real fans like, ‘Boosie you the last one left.’ They like, ‘You cannot put this album out.’ My uncle, OG n-gga call me … ‘N-gga that album ain’t coming out.’”

Boosie and T.I. continued to engage in a back and forth before they made amends in April, after which Boosie announced the album was back underway along with a reality show.

“The reality show we in works right now, so we’re probably gonna follow up with a joint project,” he said in an interview with VladTV. “We ain’t talked about dropping an album yet but I wanna drop it. That’s why I was kinda pissed about the situation because this was big for me to drop an album with Tip. This was some big shit for me bruh, so we gonna get to it.”
