Boosie Badazz has announced that he is down to come back to the city where he was once shot, but the promoters have to pay up.

Talking to fans on an Instagram Live on Sunday (October 29), the Baton Rouge native was asked when he’d be coming to Dallas, the city where he was shot in the leg in 2020. While he did say he was open to returning, he said it would cost a cool six figures for him to do so.

“I don’t know, they gotta pay me a lot of money to to come to Dallas,” he said. “They shot me in Dallas. They gotta pay that bag. I’m tryna come! $150,000 – I’m coming. They shot me in Dallas. I love Dallas, though. Dallas my highest supporting city. Every time I drop a movie, Dallas be number one!”

Not long after Dallas rapper Mo3 was killed in late 2020, Boosie Badazz was in the city to attend a vigil for him. During the trip, Boosie was shot outside of a strip mall called Big T’s.

According to TMZ, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper had been riding in a sprinter van most of the day when somebody opened fire on the vehicle, striking him in the leg.

The shooters quickly fled the scene, while Boosie and his entourage made their way to a hospital. He was treated for a gunshot wound and released just over a week later.

Not letting it keep him down long, Boosie Badazz shared a flyer for a performance on Thanksgiving, just four days after his release, rolling right into the show in his wheelchair.

In other news, Boosie is currently working on a full-length album with the recently-released B.G. after he supported the Hot Boys MC throughout his recently concluded stint in prison.

During a Zoom call earlier this month, the two Louisiana natives had a chat with DJ Tony Neal, who said in the comments section of a Hip Hop Wolf repost of the interview that he is “working with both of them.”

During the call, B.G. made it a point to show his friend and collaborator some love while breaking the news of their joint project.

“We got a[n] album coming together,” he began. “I just wanted to come through, give him a shout out, man, let him know I appreciate everything he did for me while I was down.
