Bobby Shmurda Trial Date Set

A hearing was held for Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel yesterday (April 22) at Manhattan Supreme Court.

Both GS9 members were assigned a June 25 hearing to begin their trial.

Shmurda (born Aquille Pollard) alongside his attorney Kenneth J. Montgomery requested paperwork concerning Shmurda’s 2014 Brooklyn gun charge, which had been dropped last December.

Rowdy Rebel (born Chad Marshall) was accompanied by his attorney Javier Solano, who requested that the District Attorney’s office hand over the statement and surveillance video that led to his client’s attempted murder charge.

After the hearing, Shmurda’s attorney, Kenneth J. Montgomery spoke to reporters outside the courthouse. XXL captured his statement. “This is a show and [the prosecutors] have to justify the show,” Montgomery said. “At the trial we’ll see what this is really about.”

Both Shmurda and Rebel are being held at Riker’s Island on $2 million bail.

      1. Yeah, because beating somebody up is worse then being charged with 101 weapons crimes. Just shut the fuck up idiot.

    2. “Bobby Shmurda’s trail has been set for October 5” So, is he hiking the Grand Canyon or something that day?
