Blood & Crip Gang Members React To Kendrick Lamar’s Reebok Sneakers

Following the release of the Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Ventilator sneakers over the weekend, K. Dot’s label, Top Dawg Entertainment, have released a new video featuring Blood and Crip gang members discussing the sneaker and the message the shoes are trying to promote.

“The message behind the new Kendrick Lamar shoe is uniting red and blue, where we all can exist and respect each other and love one another,” G Weed, a Blood gang member says.

“The message is about a whole lot of peace and unity,” Jigga, a Crip gang member adds. “Kendrick is just really giving us a reason and giving us an understanding of why we should have unity, or why we should really wanna do this.”

      1. Yo nigga shut yo face you just a pile of bitch ass bullshit that jealous oh and if you wan’t to settle this nigga come find me at 14 west palmer street Compton

    2. Well, I just hope that these shoes aren’t so expensive that kids/adults start trying to kill one another for wearing them. That would be kind of counter-productive to the message.

    3. Bloods and Crips aren’t what the blacks have to worry about. They have to deal with the Mexicans encroaching on their territory and serving them. It’s gonna get really heavy in the next decade or so.

    4. CHECK OUT WORLDSTAR CHAT WE LIVE N ALWAYS POSTIN NEW SHIT N HAVIN REAL CONVOS… NEWWSHH . CHATANGO . COM

    5. These may be the funniest comments I’ve ever seen on the Internet!
      What a bunch of ignoramuses.
Can’t we all just get along? Lol

      1. We will not be fooled by the child who hasn’t been potty trained. The struggles are real but the Glory is Great. They gave us dirt and we returned with flowers.

    6. Respect to k dot for promoting unity. Let’s continue to pray for haters of positivity to find some peace in their lives. We need all the righteous people to stand up. Black on black love

    7. Kendrick Lamar is exactly what the world needs, especially in the rap game. So much has been destroyed due to gangsterism, too many lives have been lost. If Pac and Biggie were alive, I’m sure they’d unite people of all areas of life especially the streets. To end violence and birth a new leaf of harmony, love and brotherhood. Its people like K.Dot who are not just rappers but… World changers. Big up Homie may the Lord Almighty bless you and your good intensions. One love. -ThaleGifted. ( Durban. Kwa Zulu Natal) S.A

    8. To be honest, it’s time to change the name of the “hip-hop” genre to something else because it’s nothing but fruitcake rappers dumbing down the music nowadays. It doesn’t even sound like hip-hop anymore and I’m definitely not seeing breaking, beatboxing, scratching on records, graffiti etc playing any kind of roll anymore. Kendrick is nothing but hype and is way overrated. Not hating, just not eating the shit. Truth hurts.

      1. Come change it yourself digga at the least k dot is not like soulja boy, young thug, migos ,drake and Gucci mane. Rap game is hard and if you cant handle it dont get yo ass involved

    9. Fake Bloods and Crips. Where the OG’s at from back in the day (Scarface, Broncoe, Green Eyez, Hawk, Red Rum, C-K etc.)?? It’s all wannabes wearing pink shorts, skinny jeans, capris and extra small size shirts claiming blood/crip… It’s nonsense.

    10. The real gang members aint even listening to Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick a real nigga but he better watch himself coz these dudes will pop you for real. Anyone can get it

      1. real gang members do listen to kendrick lamar. Watch the videos, they listen to kendrick lamar. Kendrick lamar has family that are real gangsters

    11. Glad to read about an artist actually putting out something that is about benefiting mankind instead of just giving us lame music and taking our money and spending it on stupid shit.

    12. Unity and peace is a beautiful and important issue, but trying to pimp that message to sell a overprized shoe to materialistic and disillusioned rap fans, made by child workers or underpaid workers under slave like conditions in 3rd world countries, to make more money for filthy rich stockholders is just cynical and hypocritical!

      1. well he ain’t goin sell sketchers lmao, he doing what he can, he putting it in his music, i don’t see anything wrong in him selling some shoes giving a message that they can look at every day and be reminded by

    13. What about all the sets within themselves warring? Does nobody understand it aint just two gangs? Crip on Crip is real, and it ain’t getting fixed by any combination of kicks.
