Bizzy Bone is not impressed with Lil Uzi Vert’s viral “Just Wanna Rock” dance.

The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony legend criticized the dance craze on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (January 24), calling it “zesty.”

He wrote: “Imma say it. The dance is zesty. The Lil Uzi Vert dance is zesty. That’s why he made it up. To make ya’ll look zesty. No matter how hard you try you can not make it look cool. You acting zesty period.”

While Bizzy Bone is not a fan, the dance caught a wave last year thanks to the success of “Just Wanna Rock,” which cracked the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 while going double platinum.

Lil Uzi Vert explained its origins in an interview with HipHopDX at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Uzi, who uses they/them pronouns, said: “I’m from Philly, it’s called blicking. I ain’t even make it up. It’s all these kids in Philly that do it. In Jersey, it’s called rocking your hips.

“All my lil’ boys out in Philly they taught me how to do it and all that. I just wanted to be a part of the Philly scene because you know that’s where I’m from. Bring it to the world and the world love it.”

The dance even caught the eye of Beyoncé who incorporated the move into one of her routines on her Renaissance world tour.

In other news, Lil Uzi Vert recently announced plans to remove all of their tattoos ahead of their planned retirement from music.
