Birdman Says B.G. Is Rejoining Cash Money: ‘I’m Bringing This Sh-t Back Together’

Birdman has claimed that B.G. will be rejoining Cash Money Records — the label he called home during the height of his career — now that he’s a free man.

Stunna joined The 85 South Show on Friday (September 8) where he confirmed that the former Hot Boys rapper will once again be a member of the Cash Money family following his release from prison earlier this week.

“For the record, I just want n-ggas to know that my n-gga [B.G.] official Cash Money — ain’t no cap in that,” Birdman declared.

“Ya heard me? Ain’t nobody he can ever sign with beside this shit. I’m bringing all this shit together. B.G. signed to Cash Money so y’all don’t got to hear it from nowhere else.”

Birdman’s comments may have possibly been aimed at fellow Southern rap mogul Gucci Mane, who last year offered to give B.G. a $1 million record deal upon his release from prison.

“My 1017 family help me welcome home the living legend @BGHollyHood!” Guwop tweeted after since-debunked rumors of B.G.’s release began circulating.

“Glad u home bruh! Got so much love and respect for u as a man and artist! Get at me, I got a milli for u! Wanna sign u to 1017!!!!! #1017Mafia [money bag emojis].”

Following a longstanding legal battle, B.G. (real name Christopher Noel Dorsey) regained his freedom on Tuesday (September 6) after being incarcerated for 11 years on weapons and witness tampering charges.

Various rappers showed love to the New Orleans native on social media, helping give him a warm welcome home.

Birdman took to his Instagram Stories to share a photo of him and B.G. hugging following his release, with the caption: “B.G. HOME @CASHMONEYOFFICIAL.” The Cash Money mogul even livestreamed their reunion on Instagram Live.

“Real n-gga out, bitch, let’s get with it,” Baby could be heard saying at one point during the stream while posing for a photo next to his “Bling Bling” collaborator.

Friendly FaceTime calls and kind messages also came from The Game, Bun B, Boosie Badazz, Turk, DJ Paul and Mack Maine.

    1. Cash money era is over. Wayne was the best the most successful and transitioned smoothly to today’s style rap. . No one checking for BG music let alone Cash Money as a group anymore.

    2. Transition: “I’m going balls deep in that ass that he’s gonna be calling me Shenron” “I leave em broke, coked and ready to be poked”

    3. Ummmmm, let’s see if this shit works out, Lil Wayne might snatch him up from Birdman when B.G. see the real him…. Real Spill though ain’t no Hotboys without Lil Wayne or Juvenile hands down and we all know that Juvenile wasn’t successful with going back to Birdman as well, imma let the play, play out because this not sounding or looking right. It sounds to me that Birdman is trying to prove a point n it might back fire due to people lack of interest in him and his wrong doing… Jesus please take the wheel…
