Big Sean Says He’d Place Eminem & Kanye West On His All-Star Basketball Team

Fans of Detroit lyricist Big Sean have already been treated to a handful of singles from the G.O.O.D. Music artist’s upcoming album including “Guap” and “Switch Up,” and this week Big Sean again confirmed the release date for Hall Of Fame.

While speaking with Columbus’ Power 107.5, Big Sean confirmed August 27 as the release date for his sophomore effort.

“You know, Hall Of Fame Drops August 27 man. So, you only got a few more weeks,” said the rapper.

Prior to informing fans that they only have a handful of weeks before Hall Of Fame’s August release, Big Sean named the artists he’d want on his own personal rap Dream Team. Among the artists included were fellow Detroit emcee Eminem and G.O.O.D. Music founder Kanye West.

“I’d be captain of the team, so I’d be pushing [points]. I’d be making the plays, setting it up right,” Big Sean explained. “And if it was my team, if I was the captain of course I’d have ‘Ye on my team cause that’s G.O.O.D. Music. So, he’d probably be like shooting guard. Somebody I can rely on. I definitely have to have Em on there. I have to have Em on there for sure. I have to have Jay on there. 2 Chainz, definitely the big dog right there…That’s what it is right there then.”

Set for release via G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam, Hall Of Fame will include guest appearances from Nas, Miguel, Juicy J, and more.

    4. 92 – 97: 2pac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre

98-03: Outkast, DMX, Big Pun, Eminem, 50 Cent

04 – 09: Kanye, Game, Jeezy, Wayne, Kid Cudi

      2010 – : Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Big Krit, A$AP Rocky

      1. 20 years of hip-hop right there. In my opinion, 04-09 was the worst era for hip-hop, especially the auto-tune phase. But towards the end it started to get interesting again with Eminem’s return in the game and a giant wave of new rappers. Wayne was probably the most popular this era, but Kanye broadened the horizons and pushed boundaries and made room for a lot of new rappers in the game. He’s the overall artist of that time. I think hip-hop has come back hard since the start of this decade. Great new rappers to lead a new generation.

    5. “treated” is a strong word here. I would have gone with “…already been ignoring”
