Big Sean recently spoke on Tech N9ne, explaining that the Strange Music honcho is about his business. During an interview with MTV’s Sucker Free, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper praised the Kansas City, Missouri rapper, stating that he respects his independent grind.
“Tech N9ne, he’s a beast. He’s an independent beast,” he said. “He’s one of the only independent artists who’s been doing it for so long, like he’s had a major, really running his whole operation. Plus, his wordplay is out of this world.”
The “My Last” 
rapper also compared himself to Tech, saying that his hustle to get where he is now mirrors that of Tech’s approach.
“I can relate to that. Even though I’m signed to Kanye and Def Jam, but I happened to come up independently on my own. Even though I had a label, I had to build my own movement through mixtapes, everything grinding, so I really know what it’s like to be on that grind and work your ass off to get that attention. So I respect him more than I respect a lot of people. Tech N9ne doing it.”
