The streets were buzzing with anticipation. Rumors flew that Beyonce was in talks to film a movie as Eva Longoria’s lesbian partner. The New York Daily News reported that the two actresses were in discussion about Tipping Velvet, a picture based on a Sarah Walter’s old tale.
As
one may expect, many other media outlets picked up the news and it
spread like wild fire. Still, the biggest question remained: Is it
true?

“Stop the madness,” Longoria recently told People in the wake of the rumors.
The actress went on to note that she has nothing against working with B, but said the rumors were untrue.
“Believe
me, I would love to work with Beyonce one day. She’s so talented. But
this is definitely not something we are doing together. It’s completely
and absolutely not true,” she added.

The rumors aren’t the biggest problem Longoria saw with the reports.
“Beyonce and I just did the L’Oreal event a couple of days ago and we were like, ‘What is the deal?'” Longoria continued.
“What makes me crazy is that there are quotes out there, quotes from me
saying it’s true. But in fact it’s not true. And (there are) quotes of
Beyonce saying it’s about time we had a female ‘Brokeback Mountain.’
And we’re like, we never said that.”
