Babyface has reached a divorce settlement with his now-ex-wife Nicole Pantenburg – and he’ll be shelling out nearly $40,000 a month.

According to a report from Radar Online on Wednesday (February 1), the legendary singer and his ex came to an amicable agreement and arrived at a $37,000 monthly figure. It comes nearly two years after their divorce in the summer of 2021.

The pair have one child together, a 14-year-old daughter named Peyton, who they’ve agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of. The $37,000 will encompass both spousal and child support.

Babyface also agreed to maintain lease payments for Pantenburg’s Cadillac Escalade, as well as the car insurance. He’ll cover 65 percent of the cost for his daughter to visit and tour prospective colleges as well.

The settlement arrives just ahead of the singer’s forthcoming performance at Super Bowl LVII, where he’ll serve as an opening act alongside Abbott Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph and country music star Chris Stapleton. Babyface will sing “America the Beautiful,” while Ralph is set to perform the Black national anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and Stapleton will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

While $37,000 a month may seem steep to some, it pales in comparison to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s recently-reached divorce settlement – with Kim set to receive $200,000 a month in child support payments for the foreseeable future.

The pair have four children together ranging from nine-year-old North to the youngest, Psalm, who is three. TMZ also reports that although they legally agreed to a 50/50 timeshare split, the kids will spend most of the time at home in Calabasas with their mother.

Kanye will be held responsible for paying 50 percent of the tuition and educational expenses for all four children as well as overseeing 50 percent of their security funds. Both parties already waived off spousal support in their prenup, however.

Ne-Yo and his ex-wife, Crystal Renay, also recently reached a settlement in their divorce. Instead of monthly payments, the singer will pay out a lump sum of $1.6 million. Renay is also taking one of their four Georgia homes and Ne-Yo will cover $20,000 worth of moving expenses.
