Meek Mill is keeping his foot on Akademiks‘ neck after the controversial media personality was banned from Twitch following allegations that he attempted to groom an underage boy.

Meek, who has a long-running rivalry with Akademiks, was one of the first high-profile figures to call him out and has continued to do so as the controversy rages on.
Writing on X (formerly Twitter) after it was revealed that the Off the Record host had been banned from Twitch, Meek said: “He gone be drinking tonight screaming at kids from some other portal lol these guys lives be terrible ‘NEVER FOLLOW THE HEATHENS.'”
The Philadelphia rapper added: “Ima use you as a warning sign since you been talk non sense it made you lose your mind!”

For his part, Akademiks admitted that Twitch had taken action against him regarding the controversial livestream, but denied that he had lost sponsorships as a result of the scandal.
He also claimed that his page was still being supported by online casino Stake, who own their own streaming service in Kick.

“Twitch took some action because even though I wasn’t streaming, that happened on their platform. I completely get it,” he said on his Rumble channel on Tuesday (January 28). “We’ll work with Twitch and we’ll make it right.”
He added: “As far as anyone saying that it’s a hailstorm of fallout — that’s not true. Happy Dad is still right here. Stake supports us on Twitter, nothing has changed there.”

During a Fortnite stream this past weekend, Akademiks was speaking to a 15-year-old gamer who goes by the handle NourGXD and asked him: “Yo, if [PlaqueBoy]Max said he wanted to try fucking a dude, will you let him fuck you?”
When Nour appeared uncomfortable and replied, “No,” Akademiks doubled down and asked: “Why not?”

The Hip Hop pundit also joked about being “inside” of the boy and quizzed him about whether he’d “smash” a fellow streamer’s older sister.
“No, because I’m 15. She’s above 18,” Nour replied before pointing out that that would be “grooming.”
Ak later called his comments “regrettable” and said: “I am wrong. I will be better. This is a teachable moment for me.”
However, his attempt at an apology was not accepted by Nour, who fired back on X: “After everything that happened and after they tryna defame Max and the shit he said and did is insane he realized he’s in the wrong only bc he got caught.
