Akademiks has jokes after Saucy Santana‘s diss track toward him didn’t appear to really move the needle on Spotify.

Taking to Twitter/X on Sunday (November 19), the polarizing media personality shared a video showing that Santana’s “Meet Me In The Streets” had only been streamed 8,295 times on the platform since its release nine days earlier.

“All that clout chasing for 8000 streams on Spotify in 9 days,” he wrote. “This why the city girls flopped. Y’all be thinking these ppl hot off comments on ig … nobody stream they shit. They trash asf.”

He continued: “Royalty Payouts. 8000 streams means he earned a measly $32 from dissing me. and yall think im worried about a silver back gorilla looking n-gga w/ a bbl and a beard and acrylic nails. U cant get hot like this.”

It’s to be noted, however, that as of Ak’s posting, Spotify’s stream count had not updated in two full days, according to Chart Data. Regardless, Santana wasn’t sweating it.

“Good job batty boy. You finally did what I told you. You taking about streams. It’s a way to respond without being homophobic,” he began. “It was a surprise release with no promo. It was only on Apple Music the first day. It just went up on muthafuckin’ Spotify nine days ago. We don’t care about the streams. This song wasn’t for no Billboard or nothing like that. The song was for the streets – where I’m tryna meet you at. That’s what I made the song for.”

Santana continued: “The song’s for me and the fans to clown the shit out yo’ ass every muthafuckin’ day. Every day when I check my mentions, bitches is clownin’ the shit out yo’ ass off ‘Meet Me In The Streets.’ That’s all we doing. That’s all we want to see you at.

“Bitch you probably done pulled that dildo out yo’ ass and now you think you ready to muthafuckin’ troll but bitch you know I could do this all muthafuckin’ day until I see you to bat the piss out you, bitch. Other than that, everybody keep streaming ‘Meet Me In The Streets.’”

The feud between the two ignited last month after Akademiks made a number of negative comments about the City Girls, calling them “non-talented” and claiming their musical buzz had “fizzled out.”

Saucy Santana, who is friends with the Florida duo, took issue with the comments before Akademiks hit back with a homophobic rant: “Everybody know I’m cool with the LGBT community, but no batty man like Saucy Santana could talk to me. I’ll spit in your face, n-gga. Me and you couldn’t have a conversation. You’re a cocksucker. We don’t talk to n-ggas like you.”

“You need to go get right with God. Go look in that mirror and figure out what the fuck going on with yourself,” he added. “We ain’t indicting people who are homosexuals, but a n-gga like you, you got a mental illness, my boy. You trying to mix it up with a n-gga like me.”

Santana responded by threatening to assault and rape Akademiks: “After I beat you, I’ma fuck you in your ass because you’re a bitch-ass n-gga. That’s what we do to you. You always pressing a BBL, f-g. Bitch, you sitting on your thick-ass. Bitch, I got a BBL and you got a BBW.”

The rape threat resulted in Akademiks crying during a Rumble stream and saying: “I’m not tryna get canceled to fuck up what we got going on. I’m never tryna get canceled saying the wrong thing — I know what we got going on, I love it. I’m trying not to get canceled.

“But this shit does bother me. Put it like this: with everything we’ve talked about, I’ve never cared about — I don’t care what rapper got at me, bro. Ever. But really, there’s certain shit I really don’t fuck with in my life that I will never do.”
