Akademiks Calls Out Charlamagne Tha God, Gillie Da Kid & Wallo

Akademiks has torn into Charlamagne Tha God, Gillie Da Kid and Wallo for avoiding his podcast, despite having willingly worked with all three of them over the years.

During his most recent live stream, Ak said he had connected with the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game co-hosts via Wack 100, and that he willingly allowed them to come to his headquarters in Jersey City to work together.

“Wack 100 connected me to Gillie and Wallo, hit me up, ‘Yo Ak, we wanna do a podcast with you, blah blah blah, where you be at?'” Ak said. “Two days of communication, thanks to Wack. Me, Gillie and Wallo did a podcast. I just keep it 100.

“It’s been seven months, I’ve been trying to get them on my podcast. Charlamagne, back in the day, something going on with me and Joe [Budden]. ‘Yo Ak, pop up!'”

He continued: “I been begging him for like a year. ‘Whenever you free bro, whenever.’ I been on Andrew [Schultz’s] show twice. Now I feel a way. Facts.”

While none of the aforementioned podcasters have responded to Ak’s claims, this isn’t the first time the media personality has taken issue with Charlamagne Tha God, specifically.

Back in 2021, the former Everyday Struggle co-host took aim at Charlamagne and his Black Effect Podcast Network for allowing their WHOREible Decisions podcast host WeezyWTF to attack Ak’s relationship with 6ix9ine in order to boost their numbers.

“Charlamagne, I’m in the podcast game now,” he said. “They got me No. 2 … I understand shorty’s on your network, but you don’t gotta lie to the people. If she’s getting 10,000 views on YouTube, she’s not getting half a million on Spotify. That’s a fact ’cause I see the numbers.”

He continued: “If I’m No. 2 behind Rogan and I see my numbers and I see the YouTube numbers and YouTube numbers is way more than that, there’s no way that you got a chick — they’re talking about sex — there’s no way she’s doing way more views on audio than the video.

“Tell shorty, leave my fucking name off of her fuckin’ social media ’cause I have time to go at her and every fucking body else,” he said. “When I came to this Spotify shit, I said if any n-gga — I don’t care who it is — if y’all got me in y’all mouth and you say nothing about me, a violation will occur, just because I don’t need none of y’all n-ggas. Y’all n-ggas never helped me with shit.”

In other news, Gillie and Wallo are currently embroiled in a podcast rivarly with Joe Budden, which exploded last month when Budden hilariously took shots at Gillie about not living the baller lifestyle he’s portraying for having a headboard covering a small window in his bedroom.
