Akademiks has been kicked off streaming platform Twitch after welcoming Adin Ross to his stream, but it appears the ban is only temporary.

On Tuesday (October 14), Ak’s channel became unavailable on the platform following his stream with OnlyFans creators Gucci Third Leg and Danae Davis. The ban wasn’t due to the appearance of adult performers, however, but appeared to be because of fellow streamer Adin’s appearance – as he was banned from Twitch permanently in February 2023.

Twitch’s guidelines explicitly state they do not allow banned creators to make an appearance on any streams on their platform.

After catching flak for the ban on social media, Ak clarified: “Oh Btw… it was a 72 Hr Suspension on Twitch. Shouts to my Twitch partner manager. Ngl they did warn me over like 4 times in the past bout streaming with Adin. They def dont fw that n-gga lol. we on YT til then.”

As of this writing, his Twitch channel says it’s “temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”

It’s been a controversial month for Akademiks, as last week he got into a heated back-and-forth online with ATL Jacob that also dragged in names such as Future, Drake and Lil Baby.

The feud ignited on October 8 when Jacob called out the media personality on X, writing: “Aye lil bruh @Akademiks u sound dumb as hell .. n-gga said ‘u can’t have an opinion cause u a producer’ what u think got me here? I got a opinion about every song i work on.”

The Grammy-nominated hitmaker followed up by reiterating the importance of producers in Hip Hop: “N-ggas forget .. the producer just as important as the artist .. what n-ggas gon rap on if every producer woke up and decided they deserved more points and bonuses and said no beats til they get it.”

He then took another shot at Akademiks, tweeting: “N-gga got DJ in his name and talk the most shit .. shut up fat fuk n-gga.”

Ak hit back by saying: “You heard what I said n-gga STFU and make some drums if u gon back peddle every single time u speak out the side of ur mouth and get checked.”

The controversial streamer then accused ATL Jacob of “gossiping” about his “Wait For U” collaborator Future during their interview for Ak’s Off the Record podcast last year.

“You got amnesia or you just f*cking retarded,” he wrote. “Why U aint ask WHy I aint a DJ when You traveled 1000 miles from Atlanta to New jersey to sit infront of me like a lil boy interviewing for a job.. gossipping bout future n them n-ggas tryna impress me?”

The two continued to trade threats, with Jacob declaring he isn’t “scared of no n-gga that tweet from his computer,” while Ak referred to the producer as “a wannabe Metro Boomin.”

Jacob then challenged Akademiks to prove he spoke about any rapper behind their back: “Fat fuck @Akademiks. I’ll give u $250,000 CASH show me gossiping on any of my bruddas personal lives.”

Despite repeatedly challenging the streamer to back up his claim, Akademiks only divulged the alleged gossip later on his Rumble livestream.

“ATL Jacob, the gossiping bitch that he is, was in my studio moist as a muthafucka sounding like he was Celina Powell or Superhead,” he said.

“He told me that Gunna finna die, he told me Rick Ross lives in the hood, [Lil] Baby not like that, Future trying to hold on to some points and basically told me that they don’t fuck with Drake but they had to put Drake on [‘Wait For U’].”

The podcaster also said Jacob claimed to have written hooks for Future and told him that Tems would not clear the sample for “Wait For U” until Drake got involved.

ATL Jacob then phoned Akademiks during his livestream and the two argued for over 10 minutes, during which the producer threatened the media figure to a fight.
