Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon recently invited A$AP Rocky and Action Bronson to “blaze one” with her after hearing Bronsolino’s shout-out to her on Rocky’s At Long.Live.A$AP cut, “1 Train.”
“Hey @asvpxrocky & @ActionBronson thx for the shout out on “1Train.” Not sure what it means, but let’s blaze one & talk about it some time,” Sarandon tweeted yesterday (July 14).
On “1 Train,” Action Bronson raps: “You see us scramblin’, sellin’ Susan Sarandon / The cloud of smoke like the Phantom.”
During an interview with High Times Magazine, Sarandon, a known supporter of marijuana legalization, outlined her belief that “the world would be a better place” if people smoked weed instead of drinking.
“It’s absurd that more states haven’t legalized it. It’s an important source of income,” Sarandon said, according to Page Six. “You also see the reports on kids who have seizures that are prevented by medical marijuana. You see the relief it gives to vets….It’s also a lovely way to socialize and be with people — and to be with yourself and de-stress.”
Shortly after posting her tweet, Action Bronson replied writing, “THELMA AND LOUISE!!!!,” referencing the 1991 Ridley Scott-directed film that Sarandon starred in.
Susan Sarandon and Action Bronson’s tweets are as follows:
She heard 1 Train now niggas gonna run a train on her
LMAO she doesn’t know what a shout out is
she didn’t know what the reference “You see us scramblin’, sellin’ Susan Sarandon / The cloud of smoke like the Phantom.” meant , not the act of a shout out
