50 Cent Launches Street King Contest

50 Cent has launched a contest for his Street King initiative, posting a video announcement on ThisIs50.com.

The contest calls for entrants to film a video that “demonstrates the great things you do with your energy – in your community, your school or job – with your friends, family or for the world.” The winner will receive $10,000, a VIP experience with Fif and have 10,000 meals donated in his or her name through the United Nations World Food Programme.

Submissions can be made and users can vote on Facebook. The contest will run until January 27th, and the video with the most votes will win.

    1. I am pretty sure no one is even donating to this whole ” Street King”, for the simple fact who the fuck wants to support anything 50 cent does? He isn’t doing it for the people in Africa, he is doing it for HIM SELF, so people think he is a respectable man or someshit

      1. how did you come to this conclusion??? you can say that about anyone who does charity??? what has your favorite rapper done to help??? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HELP OTHERS???

    2. So sad. Its getting more and more obvious that 50 is doing htis for himelf and not the poor starving children in Africa. The whole campaign seems a bit lobsided. The focus switches from charitable to egotistic. There should be a clear line from beginning to end
