50 Cent‘s controversial reaction to Irv Gotti‘s death has been called out by the son of his old enemy, Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday (February 5) shortly after news of Gotti’s sudden passing at 54 was made public, the G-Unit boss uploaded a picture of himself smoking a hookah pipe while sat next to a mock gravestone.
He captioned the inflammatory post: “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack, nah God bless him LOL.”
50 also trolled Gotti the day before after it was reported that he had suffered a second stroke, commenting on Instagram: “Damn I wanted him to see my new shows yo!”
Some of the loudest criticism that 50 received came from Supreme McGriff Jr., the son of the convicted Queens, New York drug lord with whom Fif had serious issues in the late ’90s and early ’00s.
“If I said I was smoking on your mother and your grandfather pack, n-ggas would be telling me I’m wrong, right? If I said I was smoking on your mother, I’d be wrong, right?” McGriff Jr. said in an Instagram video, referencing 50’s deceased relatives.
He added: “Fucking clown-ass n-gga, man. N-gga’s a clown and y’all love this n-gga, bro. This n-gga’s a clown.”
McGriff Jr. also wrote in the caption: “Yall really love this clown well imma always give the same energy nobody can tell me nothing.”

50 Cent has yet to respond to McGriff Jr.’s post, but his issues with his father, who was closely associated with Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc. Records, go back decades.
The elder McGriff is widely believed to have been behind the attempt on 50’s life in 2000 which left him with nine bullet wounds.
The FBI theorized that McGriff ordered the hit on the future rap star over his controversial song “Ghetto Qur’an (Forgive Me),” which detailed the gangster’s history as the head of one of New York’s most notorious gangs, the Supreme Team.
McGriff is also suspected of ordering the murder of Jam Master Jay for working with 50 Cent, following his infamous music industry blackballing in the aftermath of the shooting.
The younger McGriff previously called out the “In Da Club” hitmaker last year, claiming that he owed his success to his dad.
“How can you say Preme is not the reason for your success?” he said in an Instagram video. “Your storyline in the industry was guy gets shot nine times, he lives. That’s like a movie script.
“So, of course, people are going to buy into your story. You were the underdog but you was scared of them. You was scared of Jimmy [Henchman], you was scared of my pops. You was scared of Lil Kim’s baby father.”
