50 Cent took to Instagram today (December 8) to say that he would give the Grammy Award for Best New Artist to Fetty Wap.
“My Best New Artist Award go’s to, Fetty Wap,” the G-Unit rapper writes. “He put some real hits out this year. There over looking him, they did the same thing to me. Get Rich Or Die trying, 13 million copy’s Sold.”
Fetty Wap made history when his first four singles, “Trap Queen,” “Again,” “My Way” and “679” charted in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 list.
The Paterson, New Jersey singer was not recognized by the Grammys in this year’s nominations.
