50 Cent Accused Of Stealing “Power” Concept

A writer named Curtis Scoon is accusing 50 Cent of stealing the concept behind Starz TV show Power, which 50 Cent executive produces.

In a series of tweets, Scoon offers a timeline for the development of his script Dangerous, which he says had interest from 50 Cent’s camp despite not making it to screen. He said that producers were interested in Maino at first.

“Enter 50 Cent,” Scoon tweets. “Maino has a relationship with 50 of some sort. I believe 50 had a hand in some situation at Atlantic. Dubose informed his staff and Byron 50 Cent was interested in Dangerous and would be coming to his office for a meeting. I have the email. Sure enough Maino AND 50 came to the office a few weeks later. I have sworn affidavits from people who were there. 50 tells Starz he doesn’t recall meeting at Dubose’s office. I’m going to help his memory.”

Scoon, who has been implicated in the killing of Jam Master Jay, says that he is smarter and more talented than 50 Cent.

“I believe once 50 heard my name he wasn’t going to do the project in it’s original form,” Scoon tweets. “I’m smarter, more talented and much more authentic. What that means is if I’m in the same room I get the attention he covets. I understand all of this. He’s known for getting shot. I’m known for other things.”

50 Cent, an executive producer and actor on Power, has been critical of the Fox show Empire, which he accused of copying his tactics.

“POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me,” he said in the social media post containing video of a Power advertisement. “I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson. I don’t like that They would copy the Marketing.”

In a previous post, 50 Cent displays a picture of both Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson and asks women who they like more. “Empire VS. Power LADIES what’s up you be the judge. LMAO.”

    1. 50 Cent is not the creator or the writer of this show so I think he needs to take a lap. He is just a producer. Suppose if he was calling Courtney Kemp Agboh, the actual creator no one would care or notice.

      1. That doesn’t matter. Producer’s themselves know all too much about a good script. The only reason 50 went to the meeting(IF that ever happened) was bc producers/writers were telling him about the hot script.

But there’s always 2 sides of the coin.

      1. Will you let new suck your cock and eat your hole kind sir ? I like your approach to things. I bet you are very big and thick. I know you can pound my boy pussy. Please reply, baby.

    2. i remember he made these same claims back when the show first started. he sure is draggin his ass getting this lawsuit going. p.s. he should start a blog no one trying to read 88 tweets.

      1. “I think I’m gonna breakdown my imminent lawsuit this morning for all to see this morning. Even my mom told me I have to file.”

      2. motherfuker 50 has the best lawyers in the industry he didn’t pay 17m fine and he beat his BM and he is still not in prison

    3. Regardless of how this have happened, Power is not exactly the epitome of creativity, if you know I mean …

    4. LOL…..well 50 cent did not come up with the show

Courtney Kemp did…50 is Exec Producer and got the ball rolling….

    5. “The irony is James Dubose had the BMF project as well. That’s 2 Dubose projects 50 somehow ends up with. Seems fishy doesn’t it”

This the Guy T.I was talking about on breakfast club…who did not do the work to secure the rights or come up with the money T.I spent…..SO why shouldn’t 50 buy them after your check bounce.
