2Pac and Donald Trump “represent two different things,” according to Outlawz rapper Napoleon, who believes both figures live on opposite sides of the aisle.
During a recent interview with The Art Of Dialogue, the former rapper turned motivational speaker shared his thoughts on Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba comparing the former United States President to late rap legend.
Napoleon admitted that at first he had difficulty believing the statement had even been made. “When I seen that, I had to make sure it was real,” he began. ” I [really] had to google and see did Donald Trump’s representation really say that.”
Despite agreeing ‘Pac was able to regain his reputation after he was released from prison, he believes comparing him to Trump could be unfair due to the fact that they “represented two different things.”
He continued: “‘Pac represented for the underdogs, you know, he came from the struggle, so I don’t even think they really understand, the situation, or the reality of what made ‘Pac bounce back the way he did and what made the people accept him.”
The former Outlawz rapper added that ‘Pac was a voice for the people in the inner city, who did his part to “put out a positive message,” and that Donald Trump didn’t seem to resonate with the same kind of people.
He also noted that 2Pac himself wasn’t necessarily a big fan of Trump during his lifetime.
Napoleon wasn’t the only one upset about Trump’s attorney comparing 2Pac to Donald Trump. Last week, ‘Pac’s sister, Set Shakur called Alina Habba’s comments “blasphemous” after she said her client’s legal trouble will boost his poll numbers just like ‘Pac’s record sales went up following his bid.
“My brother was measured by his integrity, his principles and personal and collective responsibility,” Set said, while noting that her brother took accountability during his 1994 sexual abuse trial – unlike Trump.
She also added that he didn’t get popular because of his time in prison, but instead because people listening to his music “were able to measure him by his words and actions that aligned.”
Habba’s comparison arrived as Trump prepares to turn himself in for the reported hush money he gave to Stormy Daniels in 2016.
“Donald Trump is 2Pac. Donald Trump’s Biggie Smalls, he’s better than 2Pac. I’m East Coast, so I love Biggie,” she said during a recent appearance on The Benny Show. “Donald Trump is his own brand. He is everything. This is just gonna boost him, we’ve seen it in the polls. It’s not a question, it’s a fact.”
voice over trumps speeches with obama
One pretends to be a gangster, the other pretends to be a racist.
Both came from the garbage ass state of New York.
I like how people selectively choose where Pac is from based on their own biases. Pac was such a fraud and a foul dude.
I like how some people selectively choose to ignore the fact that Pac lived in New York because they’re being biased and hypocritical. If he was foul and a fraud then he must’ve gotten it from being around the grimey ass pieces of shit in New York.
Its very possible! LOL Not sure why you think I’m from NYC and some type of NYC ambassador. If you’re trying to offend me by dissing NYC, its a HUGE miss my man. Please check your kotex. Might be that time of the month bitch.
Don’t matter, make sure you stop gagging off that dead man’s dick on every article. You out here looking like an obsessive groupie, little bitch LOL!
