2013 Rock Steady Crew Anniversary Concert Returns To New York City

    After hosting the last several anniversary shows in Newark, New Jersey, the break dancing legends bring their concert back to “The Big Apple” at City Foundation’s Summer Stage. Rock Steady Crew’s annual free outdoor concert event is going down on July 28 from 3pm-7pm EST (doors open at 2pm EST) and takes place at Rumsey Playfield.

    The upcoming event includes veteran artists like Brand Nubian, Special Ed, Craig G, Q-Unique and a reunion performance by Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth. Newer Hip Hop artists like Rasheed Chappell and DXnext alums Torae and Homeboy Sandman will be taking the stage as well. Deejays Evil Dee and JS-1 will be mixig on the ones and twos. Battles, Workshops and other activities will also happen at the celebration.

      1. There’s more than one generation of RSC and the young B BOYS would own the European “breakdancers”.
