2 Chainz Announces He’s Releasing A Memoir

2 Chainz has announced he is releasing a memoir chronicling his spiritual journey.

Entitled The Voice In Your Head Is God, the book will follow the artist formerly known as Tity Boi to the top of the rap game and how his faith in God has helped him along the way.

The book is currently scheduled for release in March 2026 so fans still have a wait until they can get their hands on it.

In a statement, the “I’m Different” rapper said: “I want to share the spiritual journey behind my success in a raw, uncut and motivational way.”

He adds that the book was written “to help anyone with a dream and a vision [who] struggles, or doubts their intuition… I wouldn’t be here now without that voice.”

The Voice In Your Head Is God is being released through Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Privilege Publishing, which is an imprint of Atria.

The radio host said in a statement: “2 Chainz’s story is a story of perseverance. A story of reinvention. This book will remind you that when GOD tells you to do something, it must be done, even if you have to reinvent yourself a few times to do it.”

A press release adds: “Along the way, 2 Chainz offers more than a memoir. He shares a way of thinking, of trusting yourself and of listening to the voice that never steers you wrong.”

2 Chainz recently revealed that he was banned from smoking weed around Eminem when the two recorded together.

Appearing on Club Shay Shay, the Atlanta rapper opened up about his experience working the rap legend on songs such as “Chloraseptic” and “Kyrie & Luka”.

Chainz said: “When I did work with Eminem, I couldn’t smoke in there. It was kinda funny. It was his people, not Eminem. Eminem was somewhere writing but his people are just so concerned with him, they put the speakers outside so I could listen to the beat.”

The “No Lie” rapper continued: “It’s a beautiful day in Malibu, I’m just smoking. I come back in to do my verse and the door’s closed and I’m in the booth smoking and I see Em out there and I’m like ‘he in there while I’m recording, that’s hard’. He’s about to come in and say something but his people are like ‘no, don’t go in there, he’s smoking’.

“Em looks like ‘sit the fuck down, what do you think I’m about to do?’ I remember them tripping on him and he was not tripping at all.”

    1. Attention: Important changes you shouldn’t miss. From now on, views on Instagram are the central metric that determines the success of your content. While many users continue to focus on followers and likes, recent statistics show that 50% of the content in your feed comes from accounts you don’t even follow. This impressive figure illustrates how much Instagram uses its algorithm to present you with relevant content and how the way users discover and consume content has fundamentally changed.

Your feed was mainly filled with posts from profiles you actively followed. Today, however, the algorithm is the main player that decides what content is shown to you. What does this mean for you and your content strategy? Quite simply, views are now the key to your success on the platform.
