16-Year-Old Bhad Bhabie Signs $1M Songwriting Deal

Danielle Bregoli — widely known as the “Cash Me Ousside” girl — has taken the music industry by storm as Bhad Bhabie.

After signing a deal with Atlantic Records in 2017, the 16-year-old Dr. Phil breakout star has now secured a $1 million exclusive songwriter and co-publishing agreement on June 12 with Pulse Music Group — home to Ty Dolla $ign, Run The Jewels and Rich The Kid.

According to TMZ, Bregoli will receive $350,000 up front and two $325,000 installments once she hits certain revenue targets. The $1 million is an advance on future royalties, but she’ll receive at least 70 percent of her future record sales, licensing fees and digital streaming.

At just 14 years old, Bregoli became the youngest female rapper to ever have a Billboard Hot 100 song when “These Heaux” debuted at #77.

In an 2017 interview with HipHopDX, Bregoli explained how she got here and why she ended up with a record deal.

“What would you do if you were put in the situation I was?” she said. “And your mom put you on a TV show and you came home from a program, and you didn’t even know the latest music that was out — didn’t know anything. Your mom gives you your phone and you look on the Instagram explore page, and there’s a million pictures of you?

“Every other picture is a picture of you with something saying, ‘Cash me ousside’ on it and you don’t even remember that you said that. Then all of sudden somebody calls you and they’re like, ‘Hey do you rap, do you sing?’ And you say no, but they wanna manage you and say, ‘I think we can make something out of you.’”

Bregoli continued, “Then they fly you out to Los Angeles and they basically put you in a little Airbnb, and they take you to meet with a record label because they just want to meet you. They think that you can be an artist. They ask you if you like music, you say, ‘Yes.’ They say, ‘Okay we want to give you a record deal. You sound good.’ Are you not gonna take that?”

Bregoli had a point. Under her new deal, she’ll have ample opportunities to pump out even more music. Her latest video, “Get Like Me” featuring NLE Choppa, was released last month and has already racked up over 7 million YouTube views.

    1. talent artists out there work there entirely life perfecting their craft never get discovered, and this bih got signed and paid cause she was on Dr. Phil. Earth really fell off

    2. This bitch can’t speak audible English in full sentences but they’re paying her to write? We live in shameful times. Imagine how mad you’d be if you were an artist that actually had talent these days..

    3. But… She… Dont… Write… Her… Shit… So she got a song reciting deal? How much does her ghostwriters get?

    4. I mean get your money.. I really wish everyone success.. but the people you Idiots choose to make rich is questionable as fuck. Idk if it’s this younger generation or just the powers that be.. but I worry for our future if this bitch is a millionaire.

      1. Advances are recoupable meaning they’re only paid back from sales, merch etc. So she flops the label is f*cked because you don’t actually have to pay it back

    5. ?‍♂️ y’all listen to what you want…I’m on that new Anoyd & Statik & that new Krit! ? ? ?

    6. Trash little white girl who thinks she’s black. Bhad Bhabie has to be right up there with the worst rap names of all time, alongside loosely Wi-Tang affiliated (once upon a time) Shorty S**tstain.

Creepy as hell that old white men 30+ years older than her have signed her up and are essentially going to allow her to prostitute herself to make money for them.

Here’s hoping this girls career fails before it even begins as it’s absolutely abundant she’s a trashy little wh*re. Bet mommy is proud of her…

    7. Also – Just took all of ten seconds out of curiosity to listen to ‘Get Like Me’. How in the name of Christ is this a thing? Who in their absolute right mind, besides someone who is clearly moronic and has the intellectual capacity of a f-ing potato, would find this kind of bs listenable?

I agree with the comment below – this does NOT belong on a hip hop site whatsoever. By promoting this little hooker, you guys are essentially dismissing hip hop as an art form and allowing pure trash to filter through to your pages.

      Shame on you

    8. Another rich talentless kid having everything given on a silver platter. Shorty doesn’t even know what’s going on lmao

    9. Sounds like nobody in these hip hop comments likes this dumb ass. So how the hell is she getting these music deals? Who’s listening?

    10. Seems like all you have to do is act ignorant as fuck on camera whether t be a tv show or IG to get noticed for some bullshit and get famous. No skill set whatsoever just screaming “cash me outside” to get noticed. People who work hard and perfect their craft are still out there trying to get noticed but it’s the ones who act a fool that people think are funny or cool and they get the deal!?? This generation is fucked

    11. First of all, Yall need to respect that she came from nothing. And just because yall say “oh she’s trash and shit” thats not gonna stop her from grinding and makin money. So what yall need to do is A. stop hatin on her cause she not gonna stop and move out of the way or B. Get on the Bhad Bhabie train.

    12. She’s got All-o-rrhea aka She has Everything,She has Everything,She has everything,She has Everything

    13. Because it grab people’s attention it bre like wtf did I just what and see? She’s the girl from Dr Phil an she’s making music? I bet it’s wack thebn listen and shit hits. The fact is not only did she use the media to her advantage but did it with finesse. look she gots you commenting on something that involves her that says something right there! SO LET ME ASK YOU THIS “WOULD YOU LIKE A TASTE OF THEM GUCCI FLIP-FLOPS? Go ahead and DM BHAD BARBIE IM SURE SHELL BE MORE THAN WILLING TO SERVE YOU

    14. I don’t care what anybody says, this chick is a fucking disgrace to music. She was on Dr phil and then used that fame from memes and shit to get famous. She’s not smart enough to elevate to that position. She was given offers from her face being all on the internet for bad reasons and her dumb ass catchphrase she “doesn’t remember.” This is what’s wrong with the music industry, rap in particular. There is so many goofy ass wack rappers that get fame and fortune just because they try to ride that train of embarrassment they recieved from people online. Once these labels see that people are talking about that person and if the person has like 1 percent interest in music at least, they throw them a deal. It doesn’t even matter about quality anymore. These labels are throwing contracts to these ugly, no talent having ass people and it’s got to stop. I don’t even know blueface or how he became famous but he can’t even stay on fucking beat when I listend to a song of his on youtube. I don’t even listen to half the shit that’s on the radio anymore. I stopped listening to rap around the time those queers lil uzi and xxx came out. Rap music just isn’t rap music anymore. It’s a bunch of dumb ass teenagers singing with the cadence of a white person. It’s fucking disgraceful. I know people agree with me on this…..

      1. 100% agree its bullshit music and yet people follow her. Not to mention they made another underage sex symbol that the R Kelly types are going nuts for.

    15. Record execs probably smashed as part of the deal. Give it 10 years to be exposed tho once the money runs out

    16. Wow man i was in placement acting reckless disrespectful and due to that left uneducated for lack of concern for my future. As a young adult i was in and out of jail then prison fuck if i knew to record half of my embarrassing behavior i could have made millions. I do respect the fact she did come from nothing and made something out of that but i cant help but feel bad for all the smuggling artist who are spending all thier money on studio time and schooling to further thier dream of becoming something or get a deal im sure its disheartening to hear that labels are contacting ppl that have no intrest in rap or singing and giving them deals no matter on thier experience when they be out hear broke using every dollar they have to further thier craft to hopefully become someone in this industry. But shit if i was her i would have took it too.
