  1. Lol, some people love dumbed down ignorant music.
mumble rap fans r not his base anyway so he should care less about the haters

  2. Those memes are hilarious. I love j cole I think his message is great. It doesn’t take a high iq to understand that. But he is boring sometimes. How come they don’t do this to kendrick I thought to pimp a butterfly was boring as shit. Oh well

    1. I LOVED TPAB! however I do believe there are some out there that simply think its boring yet they won’t admit it cause it was one of the only albums that Fantano gave a perfect 10 score and Kendrick fans used it to their advantage thus giving Kenny a cult following who will literally make fun of ANYONE that thinks the album isn’t that good

      1. I thought TPAB was boring and garbage. The only song I really actually liked was “alright,” I could tolerate about 2 others. The rest I can not listen to at all. And I went back and kept giving it tries every 6 months or so to make sure I wasn’t trippin.

  3. Still sold more album than all of those mumble turn up rapper with bs lyrical content combine lol So i guess the haters are in minority but some of the memes are funny i won’t lied

  4. These twitter users think saying a rapper and his fans intelligence is an insult….yiles.

The world has gone to shit. Being dumb is hot now…smh

  5. As a J. Cole fan this last album was just boring, it has nothing to do with “intelligence”. Do you think ppl in the 90s would’ve been like “You need to have spent at least 3-4 years at a college listening to old white profs to understand Nas’ illmatic”? Nope.

  6. J.Cole fans appear to believe if you don’t like him you must listen to mumble rap. He’s good at rapping but sometimes j.cole is boring AF. Maybe to get through to his stans I should say “J.cole is boring AF. J.cole is boring AF. J.cole is boring AF. J.cole is boring AF”. That sounds like most of the hooks on the album.

  7. Damn must be a tough day for writing articles. This is literally an articulate about twitter comments lol. Last post and site visit here

  8. Definitely his best album. What a year so far for hip hop. This album way better then Kendrick’s damn interested to see how dx reviews it lol

  9. Oh we’ve turned on j.cole? Didn’t get the memo. jcole haters just cuz you don’t like one project doesn’t make him trash. And jcole stans just cuz people don’t like the project doesn’t them lil pump fans. Can’t a motherfucker just be in the middle?

  10. Coming from someone who had born sinner and 2014 forrest hills drive in the top 5 for those years and enjoyed 4 your eyez, this was a real fall off. Came off real preachy and was just plain boring as hell.

  11. What’s sad is that j Coles hip hop peers have given j cole props for his new album and I feel it’s only for true listeners that love hip hop and pure lyrics. If ya are into lil pump or etc. Then his album is not for u plain and simple his music is grown man raps and I won’t hate on ya but hip hop is for everyone not just for the youngn. Emcees like himself wants to also make music for people my age as well I’m still a hip hop fan and for me and many others at my age wanna also listen to grown man raps as well.

  12. I have paid for every J cole album, including this one, and Im a real fan. That said- I feel like he is trying too hard now to emphasize his skills and make points and gone TOO far away from beats. You dont have to have hitters throughout the album however there should be some sense of balance between the two, def more-so then on this album. I feel a lot of the lyrics on KOD but I have to be paying attention the whole entire time and I look for at least a couple that make your kneck break.. but I suppose he is evolving like Jay Z and many others have. Its just crazy he is suddenly an “old head” because there is a plethora of teenage rappers on the front line now

  13. No worries, Twitter folk. You will all be happy when Drake puts out Scorpion in June. 6ix God will show these lame ass rappers (J Snore and Kendumb Lame-ar included) how it’s done. Real ting ya kno? #DrakeIsLoveDrakeIsLife #DrizzySZN #NiceForWhat #Scorpion

    1. kendrick and jcole are s lyrical. you listen to them and you just feel fucking woke. you listen to drake and you hear a canadian squeak into a mic and you feel like hanging yourself. there is no story to what he writes, and he steals bars.

    2. Drake can’t Handle J. Cole or Kendrick Lamar and that’s the “Truth ” Drake has a Ghost writer, not Kendrick Lamer or J. Cole that what Real MCs do write there on Shit thru there experience in life not made up stuff!!!!!!!!! Fact’s The 90s Had real Mcs

  14. People don’t like hearing it but J.Cole is where Lupe Fiasco is currently, his refused to get out of his box. When u say you don’t want features coz u think ur better than everyone how are u going to evolve? All the great albums I know have the following common elements;- emcee plus dj/producer/emcee, or group of emcees and a producer, or group features or one emcee different producers (Illmatic) and his not moving in that direction

  15. Not every piece of music is meant for every situation. This ain’t a party album. This a sit down and just listen album, like you sitting down to read a book. If that’s not the type of vibe you on then listen to something else.

  16. I don’t care what anybody say, but this album bang. People hating because he was spitting that fact…. But aye you can’t satisfy everybody no matter who you are.

  17. This J Cole album is really really dope. Honestly, listeners need to have a certain level of social, political, and financial experience to truly understand J Cole’s concept for this album. J Cole’s word play on this album is phenomenal. This is art folks! 4.5 stars

  18. Enjoyed this album. Enjoyed it the second and third time I listened to it as well. J.Cole had a message and while that message won’t reach everyone especially if you can’t pay attention to one thing for more than 20 minutes. I like the fact that he can carry his own album. I like the fact that he doesn’t have any features with whoever is hot right now just for the sake of having a feature with whoever is hot. The album wasn’t forced by any means, it wasn’t a 30 track album, no stupid trap beats, no stupid trap slang repetitively saying the same thing over and over again. It wasn’t party album or anything like that. Sometimes u need an album you can just pop in and let your brain work. But today’s rap fans aren’t about a message or an album’s meaning, they just worried about that one hot track that sounds like another hot track that was reworked and they both talk about the same thing. Lets stop hating Cole because he found his lane and he is comfortable with the music he makes, let’s heap praise for doing something different and NOT following the trends.

  19. Just goes to show people love garbage……fuck em I’m going to cop that KOD soon as possible #Hip-Hop

  20. Not surprising, drug users and mumble radio fans don’t like an album telling them to not do drugs, and that mumble rappers need to take pride in their bars.
